The experience at Vdara was absolutely exemplary! The staff is extremely service oriented, the rooms are beautiful, it is centrally located on the strip and overall and wonderful place to stay when in Las Vegas. I highly recommend it.

You will not regret staying here. I almost didn't book here because of negative reviews. But I'm glad I booked it. Very clean. As far as resort fees that"s a common thing now. We travel a lot. We had a full kitchen you just have to request items for your room. It's only 30 min walk to Venetian but you go in and out of so many hotels. Awesome. They do have free chairs at pool

Hotel tipping is not expected but is much appreciated. Most hotels on the Strip now charge a "resort fee" and as far as I'm concerned, they can use that to pay the housekeeping staff a decent wage. Otherwise, it is customary to tip housekeeping $2 - $5 per day for good service. Full service restaurants anticipate 15 - 20% tips, as do taxis. Tip 10% at buffets. No tip for take out unless they do something special for you.
