Getting there
Great for walkers
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
We had a fountain-view 1-bedroom Terrace suite in the Boulevard tower and it was very nice. Not new by any means, but still nice. Great view of Bellagio and Paris toward the northern strip.
Upon entering the room, there is a sectional couch area with a tv, extensive (pricey) mini bar, plus an additional fridge (only found this on the last day!) to store your own items.
Next area is a desk and then 2-section large closet with safe. Robes (not cotton--so YUCK) and slippers too.
Bathroom was divided into 4 sections—toilet closet, double sinks, shower, and soaking tub with a window view. Tub was very deep and we used it to warm up after being chilly. However, the shade between the bedroom and the tub was missing; there was a pull chain but that was it. Dispenser soap and lotion at the sinks, and dispenser shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower. The shower and tub had loose faucets/spigots. Watch out--the water gets VERY hot in the shower.
The king bed was very comfortable and we liked the assorted pillows. If you need silence to sleep, you probably won't get that here as you'll hear noise from the street most of the time.
Terrace was great; I loved being outside and enjoying our fountain view. We were on a higher floor so we could also see Sphere. Be aware though that smoking is allowed on terraces and you will smell it if people near you are smoking.
On the 1st, 2nd and 3rd levels of the Boulevard tower there are shopping and dining options. We enjoyed the biscuit sandwich at District, and waffles/chicken at Hattie B’s. Both were showcased on the Cosmopolitan’s tv channel and I was intrigued, and glad I got to try them out. Eggslut was recommended to me, but the lines were too long. I learned that their secret in cooking the eggs is butter (again, on the local tv channel). There are other levels with other restaurants too. We did not do Wicked Spoon buffet which was at the hotel check-in end (not close to Boulevard tower) and it was $52 per person which I thought a bit much for breakfast.
We spent some time at the Chandelier bar which we enjoyed. It has 3 levels but only the lower level seemed to be open a bunch of the time. Drinks are around $25 each.
Did not gamble, but you had plenty of choices for that.
Activities outside of hotel: Princess Diana/The Royals exhibit was next-door in a mall. It was ok; I expected more of her real dresses vs. letters she wrote to people that I don’t need to read. A bit on Royal family history as well.
Arte Museum is in the same building across from Cosmo, and that was very good too. Sphere was fabulous—we did Postcard from Earth show. The Awakening—a new show at Wynn--was different, yet still good. We are fans of the restaurant at Paris hotel—in the Eiffel tower. A walk through Bellagio is always fun.
Research the secret bars in the Cosmo. We went to one of them and it was cool.
Cosmopolitan's location is one of the best on the Strip. We liked the hotel, yet with so many hotel options, we’d probably try somewhere else next time.

Based on my experiences with hotels, I would say this hotel not worth it for its price point since for me it's best-selling point is the view you get when choosing the fountain view as well as having a balcony. For a 5 star hotel, you would at least expect that there would be complimentary water in the room as well as amenities like toothbrush, room slippers, etc. When we checked-in as well they said they will reach out via email when room is ready but after waiting so long we did not get any communication and when we checked back in the check-in counter, our room was already available earlier. We also had someone celebrating birthday on the day itself that we were in hotel but did not get anything from the hotel even if it was indicated as well when we booked, unlike other hotels we have tried. Overall, we did not find anything special in this location.

Me and my partner have just got back from an amazing stay at the cosmopolitan! I wanted to take this opportunity to share our positive experience as some of the previous reviews left me feeling a bit nervous before arriving. Firstly check In was a breeze (we did arrive about 9pm) so that may have helped. Got a complimentary upgrade to which the room was amazing! Balcony views, large bath tub and bed and lovely sitting area. All a lovely touch considering we were celebrating our 30th (which the hotel didn’t even know about which just goes to show the service without having to have a reason) House keeping was 10/10. They came every day and our room was spotless, they even tidied my toiletries up neatly. Beds were comfy and room was quiet (we were in the boulevard tower) Egg cafe upstairs was 10/10 also. My only complaint is having to pay city tax for 2 half a days (arriving at 9pm on day 1 and leaving at 11am day 7) however that isn’t the hotels issue. Overall a lovely stay. Thanks so much! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I do not recommend staying here. This once luxurious hotel is now run down and way overpriced. I booked 2 junior suites for a long weekend and had a terrible experience. One of the rooms had multiple issues: the hot water in the shower would not regulate, so the water was scalding, the cold water on one of the sinks would not turn on, the AC was not working properly (set the thermostat to 62 when we arrived and the room temp never went below the mid 70's), and neither phone in the room worked. I called Guest Services (from my cell phone) the following morning at 9:00 am, reported the issues and they sent someone from Engineering. The guy who came gave me a weird vibe, and his response to the issues was "man, that's a lot of work". When I saw that he had no intention to address the issues, I called to ask to be moved to a new room. I was told that a new room would be "express cleaned" and that I would receive a phone call as soon as it was ready. I called back at 11 am, 1 pm, 4 pm and was told each time that the room was cleaned but needed to be inspected first to ensure it had no issues. We went to Caesars for dinner and a show, and when we returned at 1:00 am on Sunday, I went to the check-in desk and finally my room was ready! That room also had issues, and the water temp issue in the shower was the same (scalding hot water whether the knob was turned to barely on or full force), the cold water in one sink only had hot water, and the fan and light in the water closet barely worked! Most of the Guest Services agents were very nice and friendly, but the last agent I spoke to about missing food and beverage credits had a rude and condescending phone voice. I will never stay at the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas again.

The hotel is fine in terms of location, but due to its size (allegedly over 3,000 rooms) you have to accept certain limitations. The check-in process itself was lengthy, especially because an employee assigned the check-in guests to the respective counters according to an incomprehensible system. Rooms were fine, large and bright. The big drawback was the breakfast in the hotel (Eggslut or Starbucks, we didn't find any other options in the hotel). In both cases, poor quality at an outrageous price, but the bar was absolutely fine. Suggestion: use the self-parking (it was free), the valet parking was also outrageously expensive. Conclusion: one of many hotels on the Strip that is not worth mentioning.

TERRIBLE. Our experience at the Cosmopolitan was deeply disappointing, particularly due to an unexpected $600 deep cleaning charge that was added after checkout. We booked the room for my brother-in-law's proposal, decorating it tastefully with artificial rose petals to create a romantic atmosphere. The petals were placed on the floor and bed in the shape of a heart - a common romantic gesture at hotels.
The actual stay (4 PM Saturday to 5 AM Sunday) went well, and we even left a generous tip for housekeeping. However, after checkout, we were shocked to find an additional $600 charge for "deep cleaning" due to the rose petals. When challenged, the hotel staff simply directed us to dispute it with our credit card company rather than addressing our concerns directly.
What's particularly frustrating is that the hotel's stated policies only mention deep cleaning charges in relation to smoking, which did not occur. Artificial rose petals are a standard romantic decoration that typically requires minimal cleanup time.
While the hotel itself is beautiful and the initial experience was positive, this unexpected charge and the dismissive response from customer service completely soured our special occasion. I cannot recommend a hotel that adds such excessive charges without warning and refuses to engage in reasonable discussion about their policies.

We recently stayed at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas for five nights and overall had a great experience, though there were a few aspects that left us wishing for more.
The highlights of our stay were definitely the fun and lively vibe of the resort. The casino floor had an energy that made it an exciting place to spend time, and the unique speakeasy bars tucked away within the resort were such a fun surprise—they added an extra layer of charm and adventure to our evenings. The location is another standout feature; being centrally situated on the Strip made it easy to explore other attractions and resorts. Checking in and out was also a breeze, which was a nice start and end to our trip. Secret Pizza was a highlight for sure, even with a line the service was quick most nights.
However, there were a few areas where we felt The Cosmopolitan fell short. While the rooms were clean and stylish, they felt smaller and less luxurious than we expected for a resort of this caliber. Pricing was another concern—everything from dining to drinks seemed noticeably more expensive compared to nearby resorts, which led us to venture outside for meals more often than we’d anticipated. Additionally, the dining options on-site felt somewhat limited, especially given the variety offered at other properties on the Strip.
Overall, The Cosmopolitan is a great choice if you’re looking for a lively atmosphere, creative bar experiences, and a prime location. But if room size, on-site dining variety, or budget are major factors for you, it might be worth considering other options. We’d still recommend it for the unique experience it offers but with some reservations depending on your priorities.

I originally booked a 1 bedroom terrace room at the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas and was thrilled to upgrade to the fountain view for just $30 extra per night at check-in. Additionally, we were able to secure a late check-out at 12 PM instead of the standard 11 AM on our departure day, which was a nice touch.
The room itself was spacious and offered an incredible view. The highlight was undoubtedly the fountain view terrace, which provided a stunning panorama of the Las Vegas Strip, including a glimpse of the Sphere. It was the perfect spot to unwind and take in the vibrant cityscape.
Room service was on the pricey side, but the fruit platter we ordered was fresh and enjoyable. The hotel offers a plethora of dining options, catering to various tastes and preferences, and its location on the center strip made it easy to access nearby convenience stores for snacks and drinks.
While the overall experience was fantastic, there were a few drawbacks. The bed felt a bit worn and could use a replacement soon for better comfort. Housekeeping service was inconsistent, as they only came once during our three-night stay, and not until 5 PM on that day.
Despite these minor issues, the exceptional view and prime location make this hotel a top choice. I would definitely stay here again for the view alone.

The hotel itself, including the lobby and casino, is undeniably beautiful and well-presented. However, our overall experience was disappointing.
The check-in process was particularly unsettling and felt almost like a scam. We were informed that checking in early would incur a fee, but the staff member hinted that tipping them would secure early access to the room.
Once we reached our room, we found it spacious but severely run-down. The curtains were broken, the roller blind near the shower was also damaged, and the decorative pillows were stained and clearly needed replacing. The walls and carpet had visible stains, there was water damage on one wall, and the room carried a strong odor of marijuana. The air conditioning was fixed at an uncomfortably cold temperature and could not be adjusted.
Surprisingly, the hotel wanted to charge us for a basic item like a kettle. Housekeeping was also subpar. Despite leaving a tip daily, the room was not properly cleaned—tissues were not replenished, the bed was left unmade, and the body wash was not refilled.
The shower was another major issue, with water pressure so low it felt like air was coming out, making it impossible to feel properly clean.
While the aesthetics of the property are impressive, the service, maintenance, and cleanliness fell far below expectations. This is not the level of quality or professionalism one would expect from a hotel of this caliber.

We have been to Vegas many times and like this particular part of the Strip as a base. Thought we would splurge on a 1 br suite with fountain views and balcony.
We arrived at the hotel around 12.30pm. Huge queues to check in (which I observed the whole time we were at the hotel). We were told the room wasn’t ready yet which was ok as we were early, and we’d get a text when it was. Having arrived early I took the opportunity to request a high rise floor and said I’d be happy to wait for it to be available as I’d read many reviews that the Bellagio sign impedes views on lower floors. At 3.30, after checkin time, still no text. We went back to the desk, and were given keys to a room on the 20th floor. I did ask again if anything higher up was available and that I’d be happy to wait longer but was told this was it. When we went to the room sure enough, we had a great view of a huge Bellagio sign. After reading many other reviews (some written by people who could see far far less than us and would have paid even more for a wrap around balcony suite!) I would strongly recommend that Cosmo management differentiate booking categories for the fountain view rooms between high floors and low floors so people know what they are getting. This is common practice at many hotels and in a location where people are absolutely selecting that room type for the view, it seems logical. It’s totally unacceptable to pay these prices and to have fair expectations of a view, only to be allocated a room with an impeded view.
To Cosmos credit, we had the resort fee waived for the three nights, a $30 food and beverage credit due to keys not working to the room, and the day after check in I received a call with an offer to move us to a room on the 38th floor which did have great views.
I found the bed and pillows very comfortable and the room was a great size, but I was afraid to touch the surfaces. The couch and bench seat in the wardrobe area were heavily stained (and being in Vegas the mind wanders…) and as lovely as the view would have been from the tub overlooking the fountains, in both rooms we occupied there was residue from previous occupants in the tub and also on the tiles around the tub. I was happy to have a small amount of antibacterial spray left at the end of my trip to try and make it bearable.
We found the quality of the in room dining to be quite poor and it was quite hard to get a reservation at some of the restaurants so my advice would be to book ahead of your trip.
We were in the Boulevard tower and had no issues with noise from Marquee- just the standard Vegas noise.

If you want shade then you need to book & pay for a day bed or cabana but you do get the cost back in f & b credit. If you are happy with no shade then you can choose a regular lounger for free.
