This is a nice little downtown hotel if you're solo or on a budget. Most rooms have stained glass windows that have no outside views, but there are rooms that face the street across from the Fremont that view outside.
I had one of those rooms (#380 on the third floor). I loved the room but keep in mind this is a budget hotel so amenities are basic. The room had a double bed, a fridge, 2 end tables and a small round table with 2 chairs.
The TV is mounted directly onto the wall and there's a closet to hang clothes. The bathroom is also basic with a stand alone sink, a metal toiletry rack, toilet and bath/shower combo. It was very clean and attractive with the copper fixtures, and water was hot with great pressure.
Everyone I encountered at the front desk and in the casino were friendly and nice. My only minor peeves were the mattress being too soft for my liking and the curtains weren't total blackout as a glow would fill the room at night with them closed.
But it didn't disturb my sleep at all. If I stay downtown, i'd definitely stay here again. I'm adding pics that I hope are helpful.

Not the fanciest, and not the nicest, but a very solid option staying downtown. Our room was $49 for the night ($55 with taxes) and the nice thing is the Apache does not charge a resort fee. This is a very nice fact given most places in Vegas now charge upwards of a $40 per night “resort” fee. The room was very basic as was the bathroom. The bathroom was smaller but everything in the room was in order and clean. I was a bit concerned about the idea of being able to sleep with the lights and sounds of Freemont Street. I slept fine with no complaints. Overall I give the Apache a 4 out of 5 stars for location and value. I would stay here again in the future.

Booked this location as it was the cheapest place Downtown on a Saturday night - usually stay at Four Queens or The Grand. Room on second floor was perfectly basic and nostalgic. Radio, Fridge and phone all looked like 60s or 70s. It was clean, shower worked and bed was comfortable. Might start staying here instead of the Four Queens which I learned is a sister property.

My first time staying at Hotel Apache (Binion's). I reserved room 400 for my niece and her friend and a standard room for myself. I'm sorry this visit was only three nights. It was perfect from beginning to end! Since we booked Benny's VIP room (#400), we were picked up in Benny's 1962 Cadillac Limousine. Absolutely perfect! The girls were surprised and thrilled by this. The driver was super nice. When we arrived at the hotel, a nice man checked us in. Their room was ready, but mine wasn't, which was fine. It was only 11:30AM. He gave the girls their ghost detecting kit, which was another surprise, and they were absolutely giddy about it. Room 400 was very basic but comfortable and just a little creepy (being on the fourth floor all by itself). My room was ready before 1PM. I was in room 366, which wasn't too far from room 400 and close to the elevator.

My room was the cutest room! It was small but extremely cozy. No frig or coffee maker, but it had a big television mounted on the wall. The bathroom was small but very cute. For one person, the room was perfect. I was told I had a quieter room. I'll be honest, I left the television on all night so I'd have enough light to see the bathroom. I think I heard the faint thumping of bass from Fremont Street, but I really didn't notice.

The elevator was right there and it brought me right into the casino. Perfect (unlike earlier in the week at the Flamingo). Probably the only complaint I had was the shower curtain. Someone put the curtain rod (pressure rod) up too high, and the curtain only touched the tub edge. I was able to move the rod down on the wall so I wouldn't flood the bathroom. Overall, I loved this room!

Small room but 90% of the time you won’t even be at the room. You will be casino or walking around cheapest hotel for a Saturday night booked few months ahead for 90$ usd. Weekday rate is 30$ they don’t really have super cheap deals on food. You get a players card and get a free shirt and a slot spin once you get 50 pts or about playing 100 worth in slots

The room was on the smaller side, but for the price it was perfect for what I was looking for.

The rooms facing Fremont street are not just “loud” but unbelievably uninhabitable. You can literally feel the the walls, bed and fixtures shaking from the bass coming off the speakers on Fremont street at all hours. Prepare to get no sleep if your room is in this situation.

Only had 1 room key for two people. Following morning, bed bug bites on arm - reported immediately so moved to another room on same floor. Next day more bites on neck and arms ; reported and moved to floor down. Nothing done by reception except to fill out forms. No apologies received from hotel manager!! Terrible service!

Sound experience, we went for the Benny bunion vip haunt experience. The penthouse is very well hidden and gives you a feel of that vintage Vegas luxury and that sense of truly being well preserved in time. Now this room is suggested to be haunted, but we found no such evidence or have any experience. The room itself is cleaner than competitors and the service provided was exceptional.

I had the unfortunate experience of staying at Hotel Apache, and it was an absolute nightmare from the moment I walked in. The cleanliness of the place was abysmal – I've seen more hygienic dumpsters. I checked in with high hopes, only to check out within 5 minutes due to the cacophony of deafening noise that engulfed me from all sides. It was like trying to sleep in the middle of a construction site.

But the real kicker was the disturbing collection of scary stories that seemed to be an integral part of the hotel's ambiance. I understand that some people might enjoy the thrill of a spooky tale, but this is definitely not suitable for everyone. I came to find a place to relax and unwind, not to be bombarded with tales that could give anyone nightmares.

I wouldn't wish this experience on my worst enemy. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of Hotel Apache unless you're actively seeking out a grimy, noisy, and unnerving environment.

Best value in Downtown Vegas. Coupon book is the best in Vegas IMO. Good staff, fast check ins. Good food. No resort fees. I’ve never had problems in this hotel. Repeat customer. Other hotels in this price range on Fremont have bad staff and high resort fees. I’ve seen the same great people at check ins for years at Hotel Apache. I asked a few hotel workers, they said it’s a good place to work.

Nope...no incidental fee...free to park...right now (June 2020) the only place on the strip w/no dreaded fees is the Rivera...but in old downtown Apache has never played those games...more $ to gamble with!
