We booked this resort on the advice given by other posts on tripadvisor, and I would have to agree with them all. This is a little gem amongst a pile of rubble. Do yourself a favour and stay here. It is at the south end of the strip, within walking distance to the entire strip. The rooms are well furnished...

We stayed at the Desert Rose during Memorial Day weekend. All of Vegas was packed with people, so we were happy to have found a great deal on the price. When we go there we were told that we were upgraded to a 2 BR suite for no extra charge! (we had reserved a 1 BR) That was great news...

This was our second stay at the Desert Rose and it was just as pleasant as the first time. Ideally located right across from the MGM Grand, the start of the Mono Rail and the start of the strip, so you are right where you want to be, but it is nice to come "home" to since it has no...

I am so glad I found this place! Thanks, TripAdvisor. We spent a week hiking in Zion and decided to spend 2 nights at the end of the trip in Vegas. My husband had never been to Vegas and wanted to explore the strip but I knew the big glitzy hotels were not for us. The Desert Rose Resort was...

I am never staying on the strip again. I've been to Vegas several times and really enjoyed my stay at the Desert Rose. You are secluded from the loud obnoxious crowd on the strip for sleeping and relaxing at the pool, but can be right in the middle of it within a short walk. Huge rooms for a fraction of...

We arrived around 12PM the 1 week before Memorial day. I realized that Check in was at 4pm, but the friendly staff at the front desk got me a room that was ready. We stayed at Building 4, 3rd floor in a 1 bedroom suite overlooking the side of Hooters Hotel. The suite was spacious with a kitchenette and a...

My 2 adult friends and I were visiting Vegas for a leisure weekend and found this resort as an alternative to 3 separate hotel rooms. We had a 2 bedroom (plus sleeper-sofa that was comfortable) suite for a good price, incluging well equipped full kitchen and two full baths. The location is virtually across the street from MGM Resort and...

My husband and two children (ages 19 & 21) and I stayed at this resort for 2 nights. I purchased the rooms from expedia for about $100 a night. It was worth it. It was clean. Nice rooms, actually we had two bedrooms, two baths, small living room/dining room and small kitchen. It suited our needs well. We could go...
