I thought that the Desert Rose Resort in Las Vegas was pretty good value for money. The rooms are above average - at least, ours was. I was travelling with my husband and we were very pleasantly surprised with the space and layout of the room. We had a one-bedroom suite. The bathroom was on the small side but the...

The proximity to the Strip (easy walk to MGM, Tropicana, NYNY) and very reasonable pricing made the stay enjoyable. Overall I thought the room was clean and comfortable. Had a kitchenette but didn't really use it. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Complimentary continental breakfast had enough choices to suffice. I would recommend this to someone looking for a reasonable...

Just returned from 4 nights at the Desert Rose. We arrived late on the first night and were initially given a two bedroom unit that bordered Reno Avenue on two sides - it had an incredible amount of traffic noise. The next morning I went to the front desk bright and early and asked to be moved to a quieter...

We stayed in a one bedroom suite on the third floor (no noise from above) that was clean and well laid out. Though very close to the airport, it was a very quiet location --- no airplane noise, far enough away from Tropicana Blvd. and Las Vegas Blvd. that car noise could not be heard. The location allowed for easy...

I was very pleased with the room and secure atmosphere at this hotel. The room was large and very well laid out, with an high quality apartment feel. Beds, sofas, chairs all in good condition. Kitchen well supplied, with quality counter tops and appliances. Bathroom very nice, large mirror and vanity top, shower in good condition with lots of water...

The hotel provided many amenities which I could not find elsewhere in Vegas. A full kitchen, full breakfast, parking close to your room, a suite with two TVs all at a great price. Everything was very clean and very quiet. Before you book check their website for specials. I found a 1/2 off sale that way.

Just returned from a 4-night stay in a one bedroom. The suite had plenty of room for 2 and the kitchen had full-size appliances, even a blender and toaster. Location was within walking distance to the strip. We could park our rental car just feet from our room. Only negative thing was that our unit was on the ground floor...

This is a great place for a family. No gambling and only a small amount of drinking for the reception. Breakfast was good and the nibbles in the evening were an added bonus. The fitness room was small but adequate and the pool and sauna were popular with our kids. The service was ok, some staff were warmer than others....

The Desert Rose is owned by Shell Vacations and as an owner I automatically checked them out when booking Las Vegas. I am glad I did. We needed two bedrooms for us, our kids and their kids. It turned out we hosted some of their friends too so it proved a great place to hang out, The hotel was very...

The Desert Rose is very well appointed apartments. The bathroom and kitchen have stone benchtops and the kitchen is very well appointed with all the appliances and cutlery you need. It is very well located just off the strip on the south side. It is just behind Hooters and very close to MGM Grand. We drove every day but you...
