I have to say I just love this place. I had just come from the Fontainebleau, which I had very mixed feelings about walking into the area was such a relief. The location is fabulous. The restaurants and casino had a nice buzz and I was delighted when I got upgraded to the sky suites and found that we had a separate entrance terrific views and our own lounge area. It doesn’t seem like that big a deal but being able to avoid the massive lines at one of these Las Vegas resorts when you check in really starts on a positive note.

At check in we were offered an upgrade from a Stay Well Aria room to the Sky Suites so we decided to pay the extra and treat ourselves. We were so glad that we did! We've stayed at Aria on several occasions and it's by far our favourite hotel. The room design is the same as a regular Aria room but with higher ceilings and nice light tones. The room was spotlessly clean with a turndown service each night, although we usually had our privacy button on as it was our nap time. The lounge offering free breakfast, sodas, waters was extremely useful to us. The mini pastries, croissants and muffins from the Aria Patisserie were delicious and the coffee machine had some decent choices. There were cookies etc available throughout the day and nibbles/wine in the evenings. The staff were very pleasant and accomodating.

The Sky Pool was never busy and the beds were super comfortable. The staff there were also very friendly and helpful, providing bottles of water and arranging your towels on the beds. You could even pick your spot if you arrived early enough! We only spent around 2 hours there every day due to the heat but it was lovely and relaxing. The pool could maybe have been doing with some heating. Even at 40+ degrees it was absolutely freezing in the morning.

Housekeeping were excellent. Our room had always been cleaned when we came up from the pool around 11am which was great. We've had issues with our rooms not being cleaned until afternoon at Aria, so this was a nice suprise. One day, we got up at 4am and went down to the casino (as UK travellers suffering from jet lag) and our room had been cleaned by the time we returned at 7am. Amazing service!!

It felt very safe in the tower and our room 34006 was exceptionally quiet, being slightly further from the elevators. My only gripe was the constant smell of marijuana in the corridors. This is something I really wouldn't have expected. It's bad enough having to endure the smoke in the casino without having this disgusting smell following you fro the elevators to your room.

I also wish that Aria had similar fridges to Bellagio where you have a small personal shelf at the top. Would have been nice to have somewhere to store the free sodas and waters during our stay rather than the ice bucket, but it wasn't a huge big deal.

Overall a fantastic stay. Have already booked a 5 night stay again at Aria in January in a regular room. Will be difficult to go back after the Sky Suites experience though!

We had the best time staying at this hotel. It’s probably the first hotel in Vegas I’ve ever stayed at where they are really focused on providing a high standard to all guests. Most hotels just put you in their rooms and let you enjoy Vegas. This hotel will enhance your Vegas experience by making your whole stay special! They offer a turn down service and have food and soft drinks available in the lobby area. We felt special staying here.

The only thing that was massively disappointing and ruined the first day of our hotel was the fact that our suite wasn’t available for check in. We had a reservation downtown for 6pm and with check in time being 3pm, we didn’t think there would be any chance of missing the reservation, but sadly that happened as our room wasn’t ready so we couldn’t get changed and showered. We had expressed a desire to check in at 10am on the MGM app. They paid no attention to that and I knew that, that was just a desire and was in no way guaranteed. But our room wasn’t available to 5pm! We wanted a Mountain View, and sadly by the time we were allowed to check in, it was pitch black outside so we didn’t see the mountains on the first night, but the rest of the trip was exceptional!

Housekeeping was brilliant on 2/3 of the days we stayed. One day they didn’t really make much effort but was impeccable on the other two days, I even rang the housekeeping team to recognise the hard work of the team.

The views are amazing when you’re up so high. As I mentioned, we had the Mountain View- we loved that!

The steam room in the bathroom was amazing and doubles up as a shower. The bath tub was equally as impressive.

If you’re looking at booking one of these suites I would recommend you to book it and know you’ll have a great stay. The only thing I would suggest being aware of… don’t make any plans for dinner/shows etc on the first day as I suspect your room would be ready until later in the evening. At 5pm there were so many people waiting around the lobby for their room. One lady was crying because her room wasn’t ready and was ruining her vegas plans. I felt bad for her as we were able to reschedule our dinner reservation. The staff didn’t seem to be very apologetic that the room wasn’t ready either, which was a shame.

Couldn’t check us in on time. Over two hours past Checkin and still couldn’t offer an explanation except room not ready. This despite being repeat customers that have stayed here over 5 times before and always have booked a two br penthouse suite. We needed we wash up for a show and their solution was to charge us $150 to go to the spa to clean up. Pathetic service and obviously caring has fallen to the wayside. This place has fallen apart service wise beyond belief. My wife and I don’t recognize what Skysuites has become, it is now the dumpster bin. Take a lesson from any other hotel on the strip. Checkin is inefficient and always understaffed. Amy the manager could care less about helping you, and apparently housekeeping can’t clean rooms on time even though it is a 5 star hotel!! Skysuites was the shining star in the past but now has deteriorated to a mediocre has been. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else because money to service ratio is horrific.

Response from MGM Resorts Guest Experience, Owner at ARIA Sky Suites
Responded 6 days ago
Dear tehiukko, Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your recent stay at ARIA. We are truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet the expectations you’ve come to associate with us, especially as a repeat guest. We fully understand the frustration you must have felt with the delayed check-in and the lack of clear communication regarding your room’s availability. We deeply apologize for the inconvenience this caused, particularly when you were trying to prepare for your show. Additionally, we regret that the alternative solution of charging you for spa access did not resolve the situation to your satisfaction. This is certainly not the level of service we strive to provide, and we are truly sorry for the disappointment it caused. Your feedback is incredibly important to us, and we take your concerns seriously. If you haven’t already, please feel free to contact us directly so we can address your concerns further and work toward a resolution. We value your continued patronage, and we hope that we can regain your trust and offer you the exceptional experience you expect on your next visit. Warm regards, Maddie Guest Experience

We had a short but exceptional stay at the Aria Sky Suites in April. From the moment you check in the front desk staff make you feel like royalty. When checking into the Aria Sky Suites, you are dropped off at a private separate entryway. The front desk has a guest lounge next to it with refreshments and snacks. We would come down in the morning and grab a pastry and a latte and stop by in the afternoon for cheese and crackers and a soda/water. The room is so zen like and spacious and we only has the 1 bedroom sky suite mountain view over looking the pools. Even the mountain view was very nice. Everything is high tech from the ipad in the rooms to the wall switches that close the blinds. There is a full bathroom and a half bath in the entryway. There are 2 sinks in the bathrooms with excellent mirrored lighting. There is a standing tub in the bathroom and a separate shower stall. My only criticism for the shower is the floor was extremely slippery in the shower. Should have been made from a textured surface not the tile that is on the floor and walls, too slippery. The floor was so quiet which made the room quiet and perfect for sleeping. I would love to be able to stay here again. Everyone who works in the Sky Suites area has excellent customer service skills. I highly recommend this when chosing the Aria.

I stayed 6 nights in a 2 bedroom strip view penthouse (room 35026) from 9/29/24 thru 10/5/24. The room was extremely clean and spotless. I'm pretty sure housekeeping even vacuumed the carpet and rugs every day. Pictures and videos don't do the room justice. I had watched dozens of YouTube videos of the Sky Suites before staying here and I was still blown away by how big and beautiful the room was in person. Everybody working here was extremely friendly. We had a couple issues with our room (normal wear and tear) but they were fixed, quickly. The Sky Suites are expensive but you definitely get what you pay for. We actually looked forward to coming back to our room to rest and recharge midday before heading back out for the evening. The strip view is great, too, even though some people knock Aria for not having a "real" strip view. It is really impressive in person.

My wife and I stayed at the Aria Hotel for 10 nights in mid-October 2023. We stayed in the Sky Suites there. We have already stayed in several 5-star hotels in Vegas and were always thrilled, apart from a few minor details. But the stay in the Sky Suites overshadowed the previous stays in the other hotels. When we checked in, we were greeted in a friendly manner and without saying anything we were given an upgrade. We originally booked the Sky Suite One Bedroom Mountain View and were given the One Bedroom Strip View category instead. The suite was modernly furnished and the higher ceilings made it seem even more spacious. The Sky Suites have a turn-down service that really did a very good job. Not only was the room thoroughly cleaned, but all of our utensils were neatly tidied and lined up. I have attached pictures. The Sky Suites have their own elevators and their own lounge where free snacks, various drinks and coffee are available. The casino was also exactly what we wanted and smelled very good. We liked the location of the hotel, it is between the Cosmopolitan and the Park MGM. We paid a total of 7800 euros for the 10 nights. Much cheaper than the other 5 star hotels. For the first time, we actually have nothing to complain about and it looks like we will be checking in there again on our next vacation

Came to Vegas for a wedding at another hotel and decided to stay here after hearing good things. I was hoping for a traditional 5 star experience in a tower tucked away from the hustle and bustle.

The actual experience is very average. The ‘lounge’ is eerily similar to the waiting room at a car dealership—not bad, per se, but nothing special and nothing you would go out of your way for. A fridge with small bottles of lukewarm water, soda, a few coffee machines and some random pastries. Wasn’t booking for the lounge, but describing the ambience in case it is a selling point for you.

The biggest disappointment has been the overall service and delays. It is difficult to find staff in the labyrinth of a casino to direct you to Sky Suite check in. We got here early and were exhausted, but check in does not officially start until 3pm. They could not guarantee anything, but they would try to get us in early. Ok—great, totally understand. Five hours later, however, at 3pm l there is still no room in sight. Maybe in another hour…but now the story is that they don’t actually guarantee when you can get your room. Wait—they cannot actually commit to a room at 3pm when the posted checkout time is 11am? Sorry, not sorry was the vibe from the front desk. Look, I am not saying this is the end of the world but providing an example to let you choose what you think; the example illustrates the general attitude and experience. I find this to be amateur and what I would expect for a commodity product…not the higher caliber experience they are positioning themselves to be. The question for you is this: why are you booking this property? If location, casino and scene—the go for it. If you expect traditional 5 star hospitality service, look elsewhere.

I travel a lot for business and to explore other parts of the world. I have to be honest the SkySuites is my favorite hotel in the World. The rooms are like a high rise luxury condo, the steam shower, bidet toilets, and automatic curtains and shades are all just extra perks. The Aria is perfectly situated in the middle of the strip. Plus MGM in my opinion has the best players rewards program. I'm already planning my next trip back.

It is really unfortunate that the training of the employees is not suitable for the hotel. Even though the check-out time is 11 o'clock, the cleaners come in at 9:30 and come in without knocking into the room to check and they check the refrigerator at 10 o'clock. . And when I asked for a service man Coke at the vip bar, he pointed his finger at the refrigerator and told me to take it out. This kind of service is something that really cheap neighborhood motels wouldn't do.
