Wynn Las Vegas stands out for its prime location, a tranquil retreat just steps from the bustling Strip, enhanced by a new steakhouse addition. Guests have praised the cleanliness and modern, spacious rooms equipped with high-tech amenities, although some have encountered noise disturbances and occasional lapses in upkeep. The hotel's luxury amenities are noted as extravagant, yet the extra fees for basics like gym access have left many questioning the overall value. Additionally, the service quality has received mixed reviews, with some experiences falling short of the property's five-star status.

We have stayed here more than a dozen times and each time feels like the first time. Steve Wynn's vision of opening an opulent hotel and casino and investing millions and using the finest materials has paid off as the resort looks and feels the same now as in 2005.

We always stay in the Tower Suites. Why? Hotel hallways off the elevator are very short and with limited rooms in the tower, elevator rides are quick. Plus, you are close to Tableau, the best breakfast in Vegas (unless you like gluttony, then it's the Peppermill). And Tower Suite guests have access to their own pool area.

They recently updated the spa and while the massages are costly, the relaxation room where you relax before and after your massage is a true delight. Day passes are available for $100, worth it if you have never experienced being pampered in luxury (treatments include unlimited use during the day).

Casino is hit and miss. Slot machines are very tight and they don't have the best selection. However, they now have the best poker room in Vegas and offer daily tournaments. If you are into baccarat, they have a special area by the Tower Suites.

Restaurants are always evolving here and they have two pop-ups worth checking out. We really enjoy Safta 1964, very good Israeli Mediterranean food located in the same restaurant as Jardin. The assorted dip appetizer is the reason along for going. They also just opened 6666 steakhouse in the same location as Tableau. Very pricing, very rich and very too much, we opted for SW instead.

Overall, Wynn is the classiest joint in Vegas, service is 5-star and is very consistent. It beats Bellagio hands-down.

Ever since Wynn announced the refurbishment of the rooms, I have been eager to return and see for myself. Having recently finished my stay, I can say the rooms are definitely beautiful and as comfortable as they always have been. Extremely clean too.

My stay provided the experience I expected from Wynn, with friendly, professional and engaging employees who provided excellent service. I dined in a few venues and found the food very enjoyable. Visiting from a Wednesday to Saturday, I enjoyed the less crowded atmosphere and value that staying midweek can provide. For me, the decor of the resort is awesome.

I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Currently staying 4 nights on 51st floor of Tower Suits ,room overlooking Sphere. I can’t praise Wynn enough, walking in you know you are entering a 5 star Hotel .
Valet service is prompt and friendly as is reception . Elevators close by with a choice of three with limited rooms is very prompt, security for elevators is 24hrs a day.
Walkways spotless as is every inch of Wynn , how they manage to keep this immense property like new is beyond me . Well done management .

1000 sq feet room is adequate ,comes with two bathrooms and nicely designed . Small issue is even on 51st floor you can hear the music from nightclub until early hours. A few decibels lower would eliminate the noise.

Restaurants are at same level of excellence as Wynn specially Mizumi with its own waterfall . Also tried Wing Lei , Four sixes and Tableau for breakfast. All excellent.

Casino was spacious and dealers for the most part helpful and friendly. High Limit slots swallowed my 1k in a matter of minutes with a few dollar wins . Won’t bother again.
Tables a lot better specially High Limit room with Europe rules roulette.

Shops on property were super elegant with prices to match . Carpets along the miles of corridors were brilliant red and I tried to avoid walking on them in case I got tread marks on the carpets .

Wynn does not cut costs, management have an army of cleaners and security 24/7

Wynn excels service

I stayed at Wynn for five days in May 2024 and had a horrible experience. The club music is extremely loud and obnoxious and goes until 4am in the morning. I was on the 15th floor facing the golf course and the music literally caused my room to vibrate. I did not get any sleep the entire night and seriously considered moving my mattress to the bathroom at one point since it was slightly quieter in there. I can't believe that the Wynn did not consider (or did not care about) disrupting guests' sleep quality when they're paying $300+ a night. The music was blasting on a Sunday night at their outdoor pool area. I had to work the next day, which made it even more frustrating.

I asked for a new room and they refused to accommodate. I didn't even get the room that I had originally reserved. They gave me earplugs and a small desk fan to drown out the noise. I expect much better service from a 5-star hotel. Heck, I've gotten better service from a 2-star hotel! No one ever checked back to ask about my stay, even during checkout.

If you get a room that faces the golf course and you're on a floor below the 30s, request a different room immediately! I had friends staying on the 28th floor and they had the same problem.

I will not stay at this hotel again voluntarily.

Just spent two weeks at the Wynn in Las Vegas which is our second time there having been there previously in 2016. First the good things. This is still a lovely hotel and although very busy and impersonal (this is a reflection of Las Vegas rather than the hotel and is to be expected) we found the staff very friendly and helpful. We requested a quiet room before hand as we had heard that rooms facing "Encore" their sister hotel could be very noisy as they have pool parties late into the night. they provided this for us and although it was a low floor with a limited view of the strip it was a lovely room and we believe as a "king Room Suite" was an upgrade to the "king Room" that we had booked. They also gave us a complementary fridge at no charge when there is normally a daily charge when I asked for one to keep medicines cool.

Now for the bad. Many Americans will stay at the Wynn for a small number of days so the resort fees they charge do not end up being prohibitive. We were there for 14 nights and at $45 dollars a day plus 13.3% tax on top resulted in a resort fee charge of nearly $750 dollars when we checked out. Basically for nothing. The resort fees are for WiFi, the Gym, Digital Newspapers, Phone calls and printing boarding passes and apart from WiFi we used none of these. This is totally unfair these fees are a rip off and at the very least should be capped for people staying there for a longer time. We did have a word with the Check In manager when we got there but he was insistent that there was nothing he could do. He even went as far as saying if we stayed longer than two weeks we would still have to pay the daily charge. When we went in 2016 they were not compulsory and we went outside to check our emails now they are compulsory. For anyone staying at the Wynn for more than a week I would recommend finding a hotel just off the strip so you don't have to pay the rip off fees. I deducted a post for this.

Also on four separate occasions they never cleaned our room and never changed our bed linen. After a week we had to make a complaint and ask them to change our sheets. This should not be happening at a Hotel of the Wyns calibre so I have deducted the second point. We are from the UK and early summer we stayed in a small 2 star hotel in Greece where our room was cleaned daily without fail and the bed linen changed every three days without fail.

For the past 28 years, we have visited Las Vegas twice a year and consistently chosen MGM properties, predominantly the Bellagio, for their excellent comps, free play, and resort F&B credits. In April 2024, our spring visit included the spectacular show 'Awakening' at the Wynn, which captivated us with the hotel's elegance. Consequently, we forwent our usual complimentary fall stay at the Bellagio, along with its perks, and booked at the Wynn instead.

Lacking previous gaming history at the Wynn, we paid premium rates to stay and gamble, hoping to earn complimentary credits by the end of our stay based on our play, yet we only received a minimal amount despite betting the same or more than we do at MGM properties.

Regarding room #5640: It was beautifully appointed, but the constant clanking noise near the elevator, reminiscent of a hammer striking pipes, persisted day and night, disrupting our sleep. Therefore, I recommend avoiding rooms close to the elevators.

The room's amenities are iPad-controlled, including the TV, drapes, and lighting. However, the lighting design is flawed; it's impossible to turn on individual lights like the bedside, foyer, or desk lamp. Activating the lights illuminates the entire room, with only 'all on' or 'all off' settings, plus a 'low' option that remains too bright. The bathroom and toilet area were the exceptions, where one could turn on a single light, which we used as a night light to prevent disturbing everyone at night.

Our dining experiences, particularly at the SW Steakhouse, were delightful, as were the meals at other on-site restaurants.

The hotel and casino are indeed beautiful, resembling a smaller, more expensive version of the Bellagio.

Our stay at the Wynn was amazing from start to finish. The service was fantastic and the restaurants and bars are phenomenal (ciprianis and AFT were our personal favourites). The pool was great, although you do have to get down early if you want a lounger by the pool. There is direct access from the room lifts at the Wynn to the pool floor so you don’t have to walk through the hotel to get to the pool. The room was lovely, modern, and quiet (have seen a few reviewers say they experienced high levels of noise when staying at the encore but we found the Wynn to be quiet so maybe better to stay at the Wynn rather than encore if looking for a quiet stay). Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

We stayed here for 1 night in May and had the most incredible time! The Wynn can only be defined as pure luxury in every aspect. Every inch of this hotel and resort portrays luxury at its finest, from the marble floors to the stunning elevators, the incredible floral displays, the stunning pool deck, and the guest rooms which would be at home in a palace.

The standard guest rooms at this hotel are fitted with the finest materials, lavish furniture and decorations and the latest and greatest in technology – voice-controlled drapes, blinds, lights and television. The rooms really have to be seen and experienced to be believed. We stay in a lot of hotels around the world, and the Wynn is in a league of its own, the guest room is a step above anything else we have ever seen.

We got a room upgrade due to being Expedia Gold members, the couple we travelled with got a room with a view of the golf course- WOW, easily the biggest and best golf course we’ve ever seen, and we had a room with a strip view, which at night was just magical! The check in staff were so friendly and welcoming as you’d expect from such a prestigious resort.

Sadly, we only had 1 night at this incredible location – but one day we hope to return to experience more of this incredible property. If you can afford to stay here, even for 1 night – DO IT, you will be amazed, and it will be worth every dollar spent!

Wynn's Tower Suites were the best and so comfortable before renovation. The rooms seem smaller even though I have been told they didn't change the size. I guess whoever redesigned these rooms has an obsession with glass and mirrors and doesn't know how to design small spaces to make them seem larger.. Room has a very cold, uninviting feeling. This will be my first and last time to stay in Wynn's renovated Tower Suites, it's sad because I love the location. There is no space in the bathroom for your vanity bag, there is NO VANITY between the sinks. There are glass shelves in between the sinks with towels and amenities, if you are short you can't reach the towels and amenities on the top shelf, I'm 5'1". The sinks are taller and inset so it makes it hard to brush your teeth. Outlets, don't even get me started, there used to be desks in the room with outlets, now there is a oval table sticking out from the wall to the middle of the walk space with two outlets behind it. Another outlet in the hall between the closet door and bathroom door, very inconvenient, and using it could cause someone to trip. There are two outlets above the sink but no place to put the item you are plugging in except in the sink???? The room atmosphere is very cold and uninviting, and the decor is horrible, minimal. I tried to switch to a room that hadn't't been renovated but was told they renovated every room in the Tower Suite. Talking to housekeeping, room service and the VIP desk, I was told everyone is complaining about the Tower Suite Rooms. There are 5 glass shelves in the bathroom between the sinks, not much room in between each shelf. Plus there is a lot of glass and mirrors in the room, an accident waiting to happen. Wait until a drunk person falls against the shelves in the bedroom or bathroom, Also the AC keeps turning off, I set it on 65 and before I know it the AC has turned off and the temperature is back up to 74 degrees. The only good thing about this Tower Suite is Alexa, you can turn you lights on and off from bed. I have talked to several people staying in these rooms and we all say, these rooms must have been redesigned by a tall single man who knows nothing about what women need when staying in a hotel.! They aren't comfortable or handy for a woman! I travel to Vegas twice a month so I know most nicer different hotels on the strip and what is and isn't comfortable. WYNN'S scores a 1, for Alexa! Also, room service used to be fast, now your are on hold for 5 to 10 minutes to place your order. Wynn's has cut back on amenities in the room too.

Given some of the reviews below, I wasn't sure of what to expect. The hotel turned out to be quite a pleasant surprise with fabulous rooms, great restaurants and facilities, and quite a wonderful show at Awakenings. We upgraded to a 2,000 sq/ft tower suite with great views from the 55th floor. The place was completely decked out with computer tablets to run everything in the room. the workout room was large, well equipped, clean and staffed. That said, fellow travelers should be aware that this establishment is quite expensive, especially for food and cocktails(service and quality was wonderful tho), and if a convention uses the hotel, getting a reservation is a must as lines for restaurants as a walkup can take over an hour. Also come early if you want a pool lounger in the shade given the daytime temps. We were placed in a room away from the disco noise that others have complained about; our room was facing the strip. I would come back.

No they don’t. In love the older slot machines as well but they have pretty much all up to date machines. Your best bet is to try Flamingos, Casino Royale. They have the older machines to play.
