As a NV resident, when you show your ID, the resort fee is/was waived. We needed a room for a medical emergency. The hospital is just over a mile away. This hotel did not budge or give us a break for this situation. Our room was 'the only' one left on site. The decor was not inviting but dark and not impressive for the ridiculous price we were charged!! Twice!! Not upfront about hidden costs - buyer beware! The carpets had not been vacuumed for quite some time. The toilet was broken. Just a heads up - the hotel is not the only thing overpriced at this hotel, the room service food is too. A turkey club is $18, what a way to make extra $$$. Seems like this hotel could use some training in care, compassion, marketing and not being so greedy!

Been there a number of times including during the pandemic...complied with mask mandate and all COVID rules during those trips. Governor mandates masks again. We are done with mandates that punish those who have done the right thing...got vaccinated but still have to wear masks because of those who won’t. We cancelled our 4 day August reservation.

I would like to start writing this review by saying that I have wanted to stay here easily over 10 years. After a rough last year like us all we decided to get out of town for our anniversary. Just for some sun and fun and relaxation. I booked our room through a 3rd party site and when we were greeted it was absolutely lovely. We walked through the casino floor and saw everything they had to offer. I even wanted to originally extend our stay . When we got up to our room we noticed it was rather warm, so I turned down the ac and we went to dinner downstairs. We ate at the sushi restaurant, AMAZING!! highly recommended. After dinner and many many drinks we went back upstairs to our room.... only to find, it not cooler AT ALL. So I call down where They inform me they are sold out for the night and cannot move our room but would send somebody up to check the air conditioning.. I go to take a bath where I realize none of the bathroom lights are working. At this point I am hot and bothered. The technician said the ac was working just fine and he left. I called down again to say our lights in our bathroom were all completely out and nothing was done about it. I woke up at 2:30 am to take a dark cold shower just to cool off. My husband and I was MISERABLE in our own room that we paid $200+ for. Over all our room was actually terribly ran down with tape covering windows to a broke handle on the closet door that had been there for quite awhile. I was so upset I must have called the front desk 3 or 4 times and I hate being that person but I just couldn't believe that we had come all the way from California to be miserable in a hotel room. We went to check out and I asked for the manager as they told me to do on the phone and he was busy. He called me an hour later, his name was Niche, Where he apologized and said he would take the resort fee and minibar charges off. Keep in mind my minibar purchase was ice cold water and soda and a Titos to get me through the miserable night. No one offered a future room credit or to comp our room or anything. I was shocked and so disappointed. We ALMOST stayed at brand new Circa for LESS MONEY and didn't. I never write bad reviews and even gave several opportunities for them to do the right thing and that never happened. I hope red rock casino resort values this review, updates their rooms, lower their prices and start treating people better because I bet I am not the only one who feels this way

This place, for the $250.00 a night was just not what I was hoping for. Very noisy at the pool area-more like a a night club than a pool. Service was fine, but brisk and efficient, rather than warm and welcoming. This place is oriented for the gambling. Also, I booked an appointment for a haircut at the spa. I was strongly warned not to be late or skip the appointment, for there would be charges and penalties if I did. I showed up on time and what happens? After waiting 15 minutes, they told me the stylist would not be available for another 30 minutes! So, they allowed me to cancel without penalties-I would say so! But a severe disappointment for me since it was meant to be a treat. Next time, back to the JW Marriott Resort in Summerlin!

We decided to stay at this hotel after hearing wonderful things about it. To say we were less than impressed is an understatement. When we checked in,the front desk person was less then helpful. The room we had was very nice but to our dismay there was a tray with alcohol, bottled water, and several boxes of candy. We had our grandchildren with us and wanted the tray removed because there was a 15 second rule that f you picked it up you would have to pay for it. When we called to get the tray removed they said there would be a $25 charge ( totally unexceptionable). Then they said we would have to remove all items from the tray and store them in our closet which we did. Next was the housekeeping that left a lot to be desired. After our first night our room was not cleaned and all our used towels were still laying wet on the floor. We called housekeeping to complain and they sent us extra towels but had to be told to take the wet ones. After our first night another room must have had room service. The tray was left in the hallway with food for 2 more nights until we called to complain for someone to pick up the tray. Only then did someone finally take the tray away. For a hotel that is supposed to be upscaled and charges a resort fee it was very disappointing. The only pluses the hotel had is that we had a beautiful view of the mountains and it had a beautiful pool.
