I have been visiting Vegas for decades and always try to stay in different hotels and this trip I tried the Sahara. I really liked it for a number of reasons: A separate guest check in entrance where you can park or valet your car for free, walk through a door and you are at reception with elevators very close, no having to walk through the Casino. The location is just north of what most people think of as "the strip" (to me it finishes at Encore) but that's a good thing as in your rental car or cab you can avoid all the strip nightmare traffic and chaos. There is also a good sports bar there with as many TVs as you will ever want to see, and I am told (but didn't sample them myself) that the restaurants are very acceptable. Regarding the rooms, my fiends rooms were all fine, mine had some issues. I took these issues up with the Night Manager, Thomas Meyer who couldn't have been more professional and helpful in helping me out, and for me that was the cherry on the cake. This property is not owned by MGM, Caesars etc and it shows in the little stuff, all of which is good. I am back in Vegas in May and will stay there again.…

I highly recommend the Sahara, especially if you want to be just a little off the beaten path. The place is immaculately clean, staff very friendly and helpful, security is highly visible and also helpful, casino is HUGE, eating experiences amazing, the rooms are generous, new (we stayed in Marra tower), beds and pillows soft, linens smelled like mom freshly ironed them. So in other words - I was VERY impressed and will return to this resort.

It was a really comfortable room that is also spacious. Given the price that we paid for per night, this was definitely a steal. Though it was a short 10 min drive away from The Strip, but the free parking on-site was a bonus. However, some of the staff at the guest reception could probably do with a smile on their face and enthusiasm.

Great atmosphere ! I love being able to play in a clean casino that’s busy but not overcrowded. Security is good, and the games seem to be fun. I like the Buffalo games they have, and the high limit slots.

Loved our rooms and the service. Excellent casino to stay in. Wish they had at least a coffee maker in the room. But I did get a refrigerator so that was Great. Highly recommend even the pilots stay here! Overall Great experience and would definitely come back again! Thank you Sahara

Never disappointed!! Great atmosphere, not over-the-top crazy, fun, and relaxing. If you get a chance to visit the spa, see Elsa or Kat- they are equally amazing. The spa also has a nice steam room. Bazaar meats are a must - try the salt air margarita and be hooked. play table games and enjoy the atmosphere.

It was a good hotel clean casino was clean mintues away from downtown Vegas. They got a family pool and an adult pool. Great place to stay at. Great food take the monorail form the hotel to the strip fast and easy

This place was affordable which had me skeptical at first. But, it was clean, the staff was friendly and the food was great! We were only a Lyft ride away from the sites of the other casinos on the strip.

The Sahara had a geat atmosphere with clean and elegant environment, and great food. Especially at Ballas Italian which was exceptional. The casino was fun and the machine play was good with good odds. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the best we have experienced in Vegas

I hadn’t been in the Sahara in years and … wow! They’ve remodeled and upgraded in a major way. We didn’t stay there but are now considering it. The casino was light, spacious and modern. The staff was friendly and we couldn’t get over the change.
