Big bright rooms although housekeeping is nonexistent and cleanliness is not the greatest. You get what you pay for. The resort fee is straight up robber as all of the facilities were closed at the time of my visit.

It has been great and fascinating trip to Vegas all times! We've gone to Rios in beginning of Oct 2021 for 10 days, then Nov for 9 days or so. Oct 2021 trip and stayed at Rios, was super nice, and got checked in and room was alright. Then we went straight to play tournaments. Won few of them too. Were pleasant so far. Somehow in Nov 2021, I was at the VIP desk trying to check in around 930am-10am'ish, the front desk lady, named " George"? She did not allow me to do so, despite, I was holding "Diamond card for VIP",noted in advance "need to check in early". Shouldn't;t it be exempt for few restrictions? Both the front desk reps, saying that rooms were full, need to come back around 1-3 hrs to try again. Were a little dis-appointed at first, I came back around 11:01 am, and got checked in, and took down few pictures to share. The rooms, is clean, and spacious, and nice. The furniture-couch, a little out-dated, but it is alright. I left my luggages at the bell man 11/14/21, the guy was super helpful and nice. That section, was well organized. He is a good worker, should appreciate his efforts and work! The restroom, computer desk, and bedding with pillows are comfy and clean. Overall, was great, I enjoyed the stay and everything! Well, I would during this Covid crisis, Rios, still did a good job overall, as rooms service is there, restaurants are doing great, slots machines area is busy, every where is crowded, and waitresses is awesome!

Not a 24 hour environment. Don't stay here. Run down and old. Housekeeping is dreadful. Starbucks only open at 6 - whenever they want to close could be 2pm due to staff shortage. I wod spend d a couple of bucks more stay elsewhere. Still don't know what my resort fee paid for as pool closed and only allowed 2 online gadgets per room! All in all rubbish. Only good thing was the reception who helped with housekeeping as we waited 4 days for clran an towels! Avoid this place!

Place is a dump! Worst smoke smell in any casino I’ve been to. FAR from the strip and nothing is open inside except two shorty bars. Drinks and EXPENSIVE. Menu said wine was $12 and they charged $15 and were rude on top of it. I come to Vegas every year and this is the worst place! Came here for a show and I don’t care how good it is, I’ll never come back to the Rio!

Sadly this hotel has seen better days and I had not stayed here in 10 years. The room was supposed to be a small upgrade as I was forced to pay $50 more for early check-in even though it was 2pm and check-in was 4pm. The hotel was not busy at all so I am not sure why they went for this $50 money grab. I would have left the room and hotel had I not been pressed for time to meet a business associate at 4pm. Tired, worn outdated room that smelled and did not feel clean at all even with Covid cleaning practices supposedly in effect. Would not recommend at all!
