Water is a centerpiece at Bellagio Resort & Casino. More than its iconic water show, there is the underwater story of "O" by Cirque du Soleil, fine dining restaurants, multiple pools, a luxury shopping center, and a casino space worthy of its Italian heritage.

Nestled in the heart of the Strip, the Bellagio Las Vegas garners acclaim for its immaculate rooms, comfort, and stunning views. The central location is a hit for its convenience, though it comes with a caveat of noise for some guests. While the enchanting conservatory and iconic fountains are highlights, opinions on the hotel's atmosphere are split due to dated aspects and noise disruptions. Service at the Bellagio swings from exceptional to underwhelming, with some guests facing long waits. Despite the allure of the amenities, the value proposition is often questioned amid high prices and added fees.

We love the Bellagio and have stayed there multiple times. This time, they fell short of the mark. The staff were all friendly and the room was clean upon arrival, BUT housekeeping only came back to our room ONE time during a 5 day trip. I had to call the desk to get towels, kleenex and toilet paper sent up to the room. We did not have the "Do Not Disturb" sign up when we left the room so I am not sure what went wrong. We might not stay here again.

Hotel's Favourite
My wife and I chose to return based on previous experiences and visits. It's a great hotel in a great location. Unfortunately our check in experience this trip left me a bit annoyed and frustrated. I am a Gold level MGM Resorts member and booked our reservation several months ago in one of the Stay Well, 2 queen beds rooms (non fountain view). Upon check-in I asked if any upgrade were available, non, was the reply, however the front desk gentleman did inform me that I would not be paying any Resort fees due to being a Gold member. Thanks, I already knew that. He explained that we would have a great view overlooking the pools though, really, that to me is not a great view, yes the mountains were in the distance if we turned our head 90° and looked between our building and others close by! I use a cane which was clearly visible to him as I walked up to the counter when beckoned but no offer of a room closer to the elevators was offered. Yes perhaps I should have asked, silly me. It was offered immediately as we checked in last time? I would gladly have paid for either a nicer view or a different room but again, nothing was offered, yes I did ask, sold out! Was it because we were staying 6 nights? I really don't know. The rest of our stay was great, wonderful room service, quick delivery and very nice food. Our 2 meals in the Mayfair Supper Club were great. Excellent seats, food and entertainment. Our waiter both times, Derek, couldn't have been nicer, great service is one reason for our second reservation. Wonderful food. I highly recommend the club. The beds are comfortable and the ac system worked well. The walk in shower in these renovated rooms is a bit strange, why, well the shower control is halfway down the wall and unless you have 5ft arms you have to test the temperature with an outstretched foot! A balancing exercise. Great pressure in our bathroom. The double sinks, built in nightlight is a nice touch in these Stay Well bathrooms. The security station at the elevator halway is nice but they are NOT consistent with room key checks before head to your bank of elevators. It was required in January, as was room key required inside the elevator before selecting your floor! Yes we will return and hopefully our check-in experience will be a nicer experience. The front desk is the key to forming decisions about returning to any hotel, front desk staff and managers need to remember that simple point.

This is one of the coolest places to visit. I highly recommend it. The shopping places are amazing. From Gucci to Prada you name it! It even has an indoor pool! There is even a buffet! The food is okay not bad but not amazing, it's nice to have though. However, the outside is stunning; it has the Fountains of Bellagio: A large lake in front of the hotel that contains over 1,200 water jets that shoot water up to 460 feet high. The fountains have both music and lights. I must say it is quite relaxing and even romantic.

Visited this hotel for my wife’s birthday. Rude front desk clerk. She was polished at saying f*ck you with a smile when I asked her to please repeat if we could check in early and where could I store bags if that option was not available (quote, “I already told you that.”) I upgraded our room prior to checking in and she offered me another upgrade for $350 per night. No thank you. The place reeks of cigarette smoke no matter where you go. It’s disgusting. It even migrates into the elevators. Constant jackhammer noise during the day. Forget sleeping in - and that they don’t tell you this when you reserve a room amounts to theft by deception. We gambled elsewhere so we would not have to sit in cigarette smoke. Excluding desk clerk, the staff is polite and helpful. The hotel layout is a labyrinth and confusing - which could be solved by color coding paths, or having an in-house navigation app. Reserved a Stay Well King Room with a view of the city. Nice room but the bedding did not smell fresh, towels are rough, and amenities non-existent (i.e. shower cap, do not disturb sign for the door, coffee service). This is not a 5-star hotel, more like 3.5 stars.

We stayed at the Bellagio for 5 nights for a family holiday. I booked 12 rooms via MGM’s group booking service as there was a large group of us (24 people in total), including kids and elderly relatives and we needed to be close together in the hotel as well as requiring some connecting rooms for those of us with children. They said they would allocate the rooms ahead of our stay to ensure we would get the connecting rooms, and be close together in the hotel. On arrival we were told that this had not happened and we could not have any connecting rooms. We ended up spread across the hotel on different floors. This made the entire situation very stressful, with elderly relatives feeling quite isolated and parents very worried about their children. The front desk did their best, but it was a busy Friday night when we checked in and there was very little they could do. I immediately emailed the MGM group booking team to ask if they could help, or if they could move us to another property where the room situation would be more appropriate. We are now back home and I still have not had a response. To add to this, there was construction noise every day throughout our whole trip. It was quite bad on some days. Some of the rooms had a smell of sewage coming from the bathrooms. Housekeeping was inconsistent for some in our party. The idea that this is a 5 star hotel is quite frankly laughable. I appreciate that things go wrong sometimes. But what separates a 5 star hotel from the rest is how they deal with a situation like this. I appreciate that the hotel cannot conjure up rooms out of thin air. But there was no offer of any kind of financial compensation. No offer to try and move our rooms mid way through the trip when the hotel was quieter. To date I’ve not even received an apology. It’s like they simply don’t care. I spent a lot of money for what was supposed to be an amazing, once in a lifetime family holiday. The Bellagio seemed to do their best to ruin that. After the first two days when it because apparent they weren’t going to do anything we did our best to enjoy the rest of our time in Vegas. But the situation added a layer of stress that was completely unnecessary. I’ve stayed at multiple properties on the strip and this is by far the worst experience I’ve had in a Las Vegas hotel. I very nearly booked the Wynn or the Cosmo, but chose the Bellagio as I thought I’d try somewhere new. I really regret that decision. I would not stay here again.

This has been the absolute worst and I mean worst travel experience. They put me in Bellagio tower however failed to tell me that they are doing massive renovation in the tower. It has been non-stop jackhammers from 8am-5pm every single day, Non-stop, and incredibly loud / easily penetrating the walls and multiple floors. When I spoke to the front desk, they told me it’s gonna be like this for another 6 months. I have always liked staying at the Bellagio, but this trip absolutely ruined it, will never stay here again. I wish trip advisor allowed video uploads so I can show just how bad it is.

What a beautiful hotel! The entry and lobby very famous and every little detail accounted for. The room was nice but not too spacious however we were overlooking the foundation and Eiffel Tower- gorgeous! I would have to say that the shops do not compare to Caesars palace, however we loved our stay and had a fantastic time! Would definitely stay here again. Thankyou Bellagio for the excellent service at all points of the stay!

Dear 932darrend, Thank you for taking the moment to share your feedback with us on TripAdvisor. We're deeply sorry to hear about your unsatisfactory experience. The attitude of our staff that you encountered is not a reflection of our standards, nor of our commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Regarding the minibar charges, it seems there may have been a misunderstanding, and we would like to rectify this. We would appreciate it if you could provide more specifics so we can assist you better. We're also sorry about the situation with the bag store man. We don't require our guests to give tips, and any disappointment on his part is unwarranted. Once again, we extend our sincere apologies for this experience. We hope you give us a chance in the future to prove that this was an exception to the typical experience at our establishment. Kind regards, Mona Guest Experience

Not Five Star. I’ve stayed Ritz Carlton, etc. and Bellagio, while very high end, does not have the finishing touches of that hotel class mostly because the staff seemed not interested in creating an environment in which you feel that “white glove” experience. We were in the Tower rooms, which require walking a ling, winding path with several turns through the casino (yes, I know this is Vegas but it felt like fighting traffic at rush hour through a smoky room). Pool was not relaxing with loud music and frenetic environment (felt more like a public pool), and the staff was disinterested in being helpful. The room was luxurious and large with nice touches; but, aside from marble finishing and automated drapes, did not feel like a hotel in this 5 star class. Especially since every time another guest would enter or exit their room, their doors would slam and the walls shook! The shower was large but the water pressure was weak. Room service was fast and the food was delicious (we only ordered breakfasts). The concierge delivered several items I forgot to pack within minutes, which was greatly appreciated! The Conservatory was beautiful, truly inspired and the light and music from the fountains was breathtaking. Parking is another challenge, to get the
