This is a 5 star hotel and it shows. Post-Covid, it can be difficult for service organizations to find and retain staff and even more difficult to maintain exceptional service levels. The staff consistently delivered high-quality service and attention to detail that is rare to find. It was an excellent experience.
My wife and I chose to return based on previous experiences and visits. It's a great hotel in a great location. Unfortunately our check in experience this trip left me a bit annoyed and frustrated. I am a Gold level MGM Resorts member and booked our reservation several months ago in one of the Stay Well, 2 queen beds rooms (non fountain view). Upon check-in I asked if any upgrade were available, non, was the reply, however the front desk gentleman did inform me that I would not be paying any Resort fees due to being a Gold member. Thanks, I already knew that. He explained that we would have a great view overlooking the pools though, really, that to me is not a great view, yes the mountains were in the distance if we turned our head 90° and looked between our building and others close by! I use a cane which was clearly visible to him as I walked up to the counter when beckoned but no offer of a room closer to the elevators was offered. Yes perhaps I should have asked, silly me. It was offered immediately as we checked in last time? I would gladly have paid for either a nicer view or a different room but again, nothing was offered, yes I did ask, sold out! Was it because we were staying 6 nights? I really don't know. The rest of our stay was great, wonderful room service, quick delivery and very nice food. Our 2 meals in the Mayfair Supper Club were great. Excellent seats, food and entertainment. Our waiter both times, Derek, couldn't have been nicer, great service is one reason for our second reservation. Wonderful food. I highly recommend the club. The beds are comfortable and the ac system worked well. The walk in shower in these renovated rooms is a bit strange, why, well the shower control is halfway down the wall and unless you have 5ft arms you have to test the temperature with an outstretched foot! A balancing exercise. Great pressure in our bathroom. The double sinks, built in nightlight is a nice touch in these Stay Well bathrooms. The security station at the elevator halway is nice but they are NOT consistent with room key checks before head to your bank of elevators. It was required in January, as was room key required inside the elevator before selecting your floor! Yes we will return and hopefully our check-in experience will be a nicer experience. The front desk is the key to forming decisions about returning to any hotel, front desk staff and managers need to remember that simple point.…
Staff all amazing and friendly. Beautiful inside. We upgraded to a suite with an amazing view and a hot tub. Best hotel I've ever stayed in. Mini bar prices were ridiculous but that was expected. Incredible water fountains. £40 extra for late check out with I think was very reasonable.
Bellagio is a great mid strip option. Room was fantastic. Our Junior suite had great views and was recently renovated. Loved the deep soaking tub! Great bedding and automatic drapes. Hotel was clean except for some lingering room service items in the hallway. Loved our stay and we love MGM properties.
Great room but could not get hot water in the shower even after service person tried twice. He said it was fixed but it was not. Had to take cold showers. Bathtub and sink had hot water however valve on shower could not rotate enough to get hot water.
The hotel is always beautiful. You can see the age in the rooms though. The shower head had no water pressure, and is very old. The bed is old, and sinks in every spot. Those are my only complaints. The rooms are always clean and beautiful.
The experience was great. The suite was fanastic, great tub and steam room. We had fun at the machines, the buffet was delicious and the location is great. Would deinitely stay again at the Bellagio when coming back to Vegas.
Great stay as always. Sadelle's for breakfast is a must; Luc the GM is awesome along with the servers(Bill and Sandra). Prime is always wonderful top notch service. Dom in the men's spa was outstanding. Most of the dealers were very pleasant and helpful(Kadie in BJ, James and William(Bill) in craps. Thanks for another great trip.
Truly was a pleasant experience at Bellagio. Quite honestly, there is absolutely no reason to leave this resort. They catered to your every need. The breakfast selection was superb and for the both times we indulged it met all the expectations. I will return, hopefully soon.
It seemed as though the hotel was short on staff everywhere. It was impossible to reach the spa by phone. Difficult to place in-room dining orders because of the wait and it took about 50 minutes to get just coffee. The housekeeping service was atrocious!
