The Nugget looks like the best place on Fremont Street but my review is for the casino-it’s one of the better ones in Old Vegas. Other highlights include the Shark Tank aquarium next to the pool and the Golden Nugget exhibit; both worth seeing. Will visit again.

Definitely the best hotel/casino experience downtown on Fremont Street.
We had a very nice stay here on a family vacation. We booked the Scarlet suite and its adjoining room since there were 7 of us in our party. Room was luxurious and comfortable, especially for the great rate we received. Staff were all very friendly and helpful at all times. Very nice casino with large selection of all the latest slots (and even some older favorites) and plenty of table games. Very nice pool area that features LOTS of lounge chairs and different sections for all ages and for adults-only (and even a slide that goes through the center of the aquarium and shark tank!).There lots of nice restaurants and bars in the Golden Nugget itself (there are even 2 Starbucks, one on each end), and of course it is situated right in the heart of the Fremont Street experience. Uber rides were only around $10-$12 to the Strip during non-peak times. We visited the other hotel/casinos on Fremont Street and the Golden Nugget definitely seems to be the cream of the crop downtown. Would highly recommend if you are looking to stay downtown instead of on the Strip.…

Taco's & Fries
Must I say this is the first time I have had fish taco's. They were absolutely wonderful. The fries were fantastic as well. They had a different type of seasoning on them. My service was great and fast.

Staying in old town
The golden nugget casino and hotel this was a fun place to stay. Right on the Fremont experience. Parking was included with the room which is nice and it was an easy walk to lots of dining. My only complaint about the place is their casino floor could have a better evac system for the cigarette smoke. It’s very much reduced but when you go to the strip those casinos are much better at it. The pool at this hotel is really fun.

Spent Christmas on Freemont Street. How fun! Great fun, music, and won money! Scooter for hubby delivered to front desk. Gave such mobility. Free upgrade to accomodate late arrival. Staff of G.N. is the best by far. Gave me such peace of mind. I knew they were the best hotel to take care of our needs.

Can you use the Golden Nugget e-gift cards bought from Costco to pay the $38/day resort fees?

Is the pool included in your stay to use?
Golden Nugget charge a resort fee per day of about $30US which includes the pool area. If you want cabanas they are extra. I was there a month ago and the pool was closed but still had to pay the resort fee. I’m not sure when you’re travelling but I would check the pool is even open!

Is shark tank open in February?
The shark tank is always open for viewing. The pool is opening Feb 1.

Hi Everyone, I saw in a previous review that there was free parking available for an RV in an overflow lot that the Golden Nugget has. Does anyone know where that lot is? Thanks in advance
I believe the RV parking lot is at 1st and Bridger. Most hotels that hold conventions have spaces for RV's.
