The rooms are outdated. We stayed for 3 nights and it would have been much more comfortable to have had a small couch or recliner. There was a bed and 2 upholstered chairs with very small table, vanity desk and chair, TV console. The carpet was wet when we moved in?). You paid for EVERYTHING__bottle of H2O ($4), Keurig K...

My mom, her partner and I went to Vegas this was supposed to be a once in a lifetime trip, so we wanted to go top shelf all the way. We stayed in the gold tower, supposed to be the best, with VIP this and that. We arrived early, our room was not ready although we were told it was...

We spent a 3-day weekend in Vegas! Here are the pros and cons of the Golden Nugget..... Cons: Reserved a king, not available upon checking, settled for a double. Our room was easily 300 yards from elevator. (Carson tower) K-cups were $10 for 4, bring your own! Poor lighting Loose faucet in shower/tub Found lipstick in drawer and Chapstick beside...

Just returned from a 6 day stay in Vegas Typically we stay on the strip and just visit downtown . This time we decided to try 3 days downtown and chose a VIP room at the Golden Nugget. Our room was on the 22 nd floor and was decorated nicely and was immaculately clean. Outside the elevator was coffee, fruit...

I stayed here with a large group and was very nervous because my friend said it was a dump. It wasn't a dump but there is definitely room for improvement. My friend was also impressed and said that it had been remodeled since her last stay. The room and bathroom were clean but my biggest issue was the sewage smell...

We just stayed at the Golden Nugget for 3 nights, 11/7-11/10/2015. Check in was very smooth. Front desk personnel were very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in the Carson Tower and booked 6 months ago and got a very good price. The one plus is that you don't have to pay a resort fee. But they shouldn't charge you a...

My Siblings all met in Las Vegas for our brother's Birthday. He has always preferred downtown Vegas and since I had never stayed in that part of town I took his advice. My room was in the newer Rush tower and the rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. The hotel had a nice assortment of chocolates and fruit in...

I have been to vegas about 40+ times and have stayed on the "new strip" as well as "old strip/downtown" fremont area. Both are very different from each other.....it's like a classic car versus a new model.......my stay this time was the Golden Nugget.....although my room was pretty nice and majority of the hotel has been remodeled, I could not...

Save $$$ and stay in the center of Downtown Las Vegas! Spacious and clean rooms, great staff, awesome casino! I loved sitting by the pool watching the fish and sharks swim. They have table games and slots, as well as two golden nuggets on display! I felt very welcome and comfortable here. The casino is perfectly located to catch the...
