A couple of thoughts about the Hard Rock. One, it's off the Strip. That can be a plus or a minus depending on what your plans are. Some pluses: very young crowd. If you are under 30 this is the place to gamble. Great restaurants: MB Steak, typical crazy prices but very good.

That's a good choice in Las Vegas - I strongly believe. We spent a conference there and it was very good. Big area full of shops, slots, bars and whatever else needed in Las Vegas is there. Cool design with a lot of cult items of rock idols (like Freddy, Axl Rose, Bon Jovi etc).

I am currently booked, just called to confirm my reservation, and found that they charge for every little thing... like I have never experienced before in my life! They are literally charging me daily to put a fridge in my room. Normally this is complimentary even if on request.

We spent 3 nights here and enjoyed the experience. The bedrooms and bathroom sizes are more than accommodating and housekeeping do a wonderful job. Unfortunately the weather was cold and did not allow for us to enjoy the outside pool areas. The casino is large enough to enjoy

Is the pool open in February?
Hi, we just went in January last weekend, the pools were closed. I would contact the hotel to see when they will be open. They did have a nice indoor spa though. Had separate hot tubs, sauna, and steam room for me and woman, there was also a larger hot tub for both men and woman.

It depends on what your you want to do. there are concerts in the hard Rock Hotel and other hotels. I stayed at another hotel on the stop and seen a show and you can walk to several casinos were close to white castles and Macdonalds. But eliis Island is a local place away from the strip good restaurant and good prices plus casinos too. all depends on what you prefer if you like to gamble the strip has several close by and you can walk to the easily in few minutes.
