Was in town for a business trip to look at hotel venues for a upcoming conference. Was booked into the Flamingo for 2 nights. On my first night after I was all unpacked came back from dinner and found water on my bathroom floor. The water was dripping from the ceiling. I called to the hotel operator and told them of the problem and I wanted to move. I was informed I needed to wait for a maintenance person to come look at the room. This was just after 11pm After 20 minutes I called back was told they were busy and would be right there. 20 minutes later a house keeper should up with towels to soak up the water. The house keeper tried to get someone on his radio to move me to another room but Nobody responded to his call. I had already packed my bags so I went to the lobby and waited in line to get a new room. When I was helped I explained what happed the lobby person walked away spoke with someone and came back and told me they got me a new room and was an upgrade. The new room was in a different tower and I got lost finding the new elevator tower. I finally got to my new room almost 1 1/2 hours after my ordeal started. I had two bags and a backpack to carry. I was shocked at the lack of concern for inconvenience this caused like I should be great full for getting a new room which added a couch and was a bit larger.

The only person who seemed liked the water to help was the housekeeper and he own boss didn’t answer him on the radio.

The next night while walking back to my room I came across a man urinating in the hallway not a great site to see while I was heap back to go to sleep. I called the operator again she said they would send up security.

The rest of the stay seemed ok the property has been upgraded and their still adding more stuff all the time.

Not sure if I will be back.

This will be a long one but hope it helps... I took the time to read a lot of reviews before sticking with the planned trip to Vegas 2 weeks ago. Some were very helpful on what to expect being times are not normal during covid. Other reviews were not even close. For starters a lot of reviews said check in was a night mare? We experienced no problem at all security was nice pointed us to the kiosk. Our reservation said we would have 2 queens not the king i requested. We asked one of the employees that were helping check people in at the kiosk and the change was made no problem. Within minuets we were checked in and off to our room. As we got to the room there was a Cesar's property sticker that was sealed to the door saying your room had been cleaned and sanitized. As we went in it sure was perfectly cleaned and ready for use. The next day was pool day saw many reviews that you had to wait for them to text you your time to enter and most people never got that text so never got to use the pool. We decided a week before our trip to pre buy a day bed for 2 costing $150 and then you had to spend at least $150 in food and beverage. To me that was a no brainier. It was guaranteed entry and being its Vegas how easy it to spend a $150 at the pool!!! Super relaxed only 75 general admission entry i was told by our waitress besides pre paid day beds. So normal party at the pool wasn't there but relaxed and enjoyed a perfect day with cocktails lounging. Drinking while in the casino wasn't as bad as expected either. Bars are closed but plenty off waitresses walked around so there was not a long wait to get a drink. One last complaint i saw often was no room service. They did not offer room service which meant towels may be hard to come by? Again never had an issue. after a couple days we asked the cleaning person on our floor for new towels and it was no issue. Our garbage we took out everyday to the main can by the elevator. Overall it was normal Vegas trip, yes with masks and some other small changes. I was very happy we stuck with the trip and i hope this will help others that are concerned on if things are different.

This room was great as we were in the newly renovated one. Enough towels this time and I like the new and improved washroom in the room no bottles of shampoo or soap etc which is great for the environment. Thank you for doing that. The casino definately needs renovations there is that carpet fresh smell that everyone hates as soon as you walk into this hotel casino. Needs new carpet everywhere in this hotel.

I booked a "Go Room" for 5 nights and when I arrived, they no longer offer this room. Coffee Maker was removed so I bought a water kettle and made my own. I wont pay $6 per cup for burnt coffee at their facility.

I put the "Occupied" flag on the door so i wont be bother by house keeping and all ways unplug the phone as it's only a scam that they call you all day with offers of the SPA, Buffet or Time Share offers.

After the second day, someone knocked on the door and said they needed to enter a code on the phone. Told her it was unplugged on purpose. She then changed her story saying the occupied sign has been on the door 2 days and she needed to do a "sweep' of the room. Told her to F Off. She then shouted and demanded entry. Again I told her to F Off. She said she will be back with security. OK, bring a Yellow Shirt.

Came back 45 minutes later with a Manager from house keeping. I let her in and she looked at the phone checked behind the bed, closet and shower. Was about to walk out and I asked her why she didn't use the phone as needed to contact the Matrix. I scoffed and said it was breach of privacy to force entry without cause.

Better Caesars Group get K9's trained to sniff out the WMD and drugs from under the door then to demand entry.

This will be my last time for any Cesars resort. No longer Vegas.

In closing, the check in line at 3PM was 2 hours wait. Reason... Up Sale. Once you get to the check in staff, they hold you hostage offering upgrades to rooms that offer no upgrade, Spa offers, buffet and show tickets.

They are getting so desperate they dont mind the people waiting. Even the Kios was 30 minute wait.

Flamingo might be cheap at times but not worth the hassle.

We booked a non-smoking room on a non-smoking floor however the rooms on each side of us were smoking cigarettes and weed all weekend. I spoke to house keeping and they said they would come and spray a neutralizer.
They charge a resort fee for the pool and two WiFi but the pool is not open and only one person got WiFi and it was constantly dropping.
I requested a late check out, but the hotel said they had no reference of it and they came a knocked on our door at 9:00 am to remind us we needed to check out by 11.
I will never stay here again, nor would I ever recommend it.

We booked two rooms at the Flamingo in June 2021. Our rooms were not serviced or cleaned at all in the first 4 days of our stay. We called the front desk multiple times; each time we were told that they would be cleaned "shortly" but continued to not happen. Eventually we went in person to discover that many other guests were experiencing the same issue. Eventually our rooms were serviced a single time on the 5th day of a week-long trip after much complaining.

The flamingo also charges a resort fee of $41.95/room/day which is not made clear when booking. This is deceptive, and we were able to get this fee waived by asking the front desk.

Make sure to avoid staying in a room on the north face of the building on weekends if you are fond of sleeping: there is a night club in the alley that plays loud music late into the night directly into these rooms.

One great thing is the location: the flamingo is an affordable choice located very close to many attractions such as Caesar's Palace, the Bellagio, etc.

The rooms themselves are good, looks like they have been remodeled within the last 10 years or so.

If there was 3.5 stars I would have selected that. The location alone (middle of the Strip and close to everything you need) gets you four stars with freshly remodeled rooms . With that said, the overall customer service experience was not the best. I've never seen bar tenders who move as slowly as those who staff the Garden Bar and Bugsy's. I even overheard one tell the other, "watch how long I can ignore her" as well as the staff who work the front desk and floor, who appear to have an attitude that imparts that they shall be treated as the customer, not the actual customer. Final straw was the Super Bowl party. I'd encourage folks not to attend a paid event for the "Big Game" as the servers were grossly understaffed and the food, MEH at best, but rather if I had to do it again, I'd hit one of the many spots right outside the Flamingo.

Stayed in a Strip View Flamingo Room with a friend and thought this hotel was fine. The beds were really comfy, shower gels, iron, etc are included however a coffee machine would have been a nice touch.

Check in was from 4pm which seems rather late in the day. To check in earlier, you are required to pay $30 before 2pm or $10 after 2pm, but before 4pm. Both instances seem a bit steep and not something I’ve seen in the other 7+ Vegas hotels I’ve stayed in.

Upon checking in we were given the option to upgrade to a room with a view of the strip for $10 per night, which we took advantage of. The attached shows the view which I thought was pretty smart.

The bathroom was nice and spacious, although there’s no lock on the bathroom door which could be a problem for those who like their privacy. Plenty of towels and a hairdryer are issued also.

As part of our room rate, we were given a $9 daily breakfast allowance pp, to be used at the Club Cappuccino which was a nice touch. Having said this, the cost of a bottle of water here was c.$4 and a coffee was c.$6 so the voucher didn’t go far.

Within the grounds of the hotel are a casino(!), food court with a few options, pool - which was closed I believe and also a gym. Resort tax was c.$39 per night which seemed steep especially given we were out of season, but my guess is this is in line with other hotels on the strip.

The location for me, was the best part of the Flamingo. It’s located opposite Bellagio/Caesars (approx 10 min walk) and roughly 20 min from the Wynn to the north and 25 mins or so to the MGM Grand to the south.

All in all I was impressed by the Flamingo room, albeit nothing really jumped out at me. I probably wouldn’t stay here again in the near future, given the vast range of available hotels in Las Vegas but I’d recommend the hotel based on its price and location in the centre of the main Strip.

The Flamingo hotel pictures online were beautiful and I was looking forward to get inside of my friends and I hotel room. They did temperature checks for each guest and had a kiosk to help with checking in/getting lines down, which I love the most. I finally got my room key and headed to the room to get settled in, shower and take a nap from our five hour flight we had just gotten off of. When we arrived on our hotel room floor, I was already disappointed. I had booked the Flamingo hotel for a NON SMOKING room; they have a strict no smoking policy which would result in you having to pay $500 if the policy was broken. The smell of cigarettes were horrible, as well as the filthy carpeting/filthy walls. We headed down the filthy walk way and gotten to our room to see even more filth. When I tell you we were disgusted, it was a mess.. the room had rust, toilet seat was filthy, you could tell nothing was wiped down/cleaned. There was a filthy couch inside of the little (double bedded) room. We didn’t even want to lay across the beds or sit our luggage on any furniture. We immediately gathered our belongings to check out and find another hotel; we were cat fished. I went back into the line at the front desk and explained to management about our experience and what we thought we would be getting ourselves into. Susie looked a little irritable at first and explained that we could upgrade into one of their renovated rooms for an additional $15.00 per night. Susie did not believe what we described until I showed her a picture of the filthy couch inside of the room.. I wish I had gotten more pictures of everything. After seeing the picture Susie stepped away from the computer to get more assistance from another manager for about 5 mins. She then returned and gave us new room keys and hand sanitizer, although she wasn’t empathetic in the beginning she made things a little better shortly. Also, room service did not stop pass our room to collect any trash or give us fresh rags and towels. I had to contact house keeping and they only took an extra hour, after calling twice. I will not be returning back to any Flamingo locations, they promote false advertisement and do not aim to accommodate their guest immediately. I would not recommend if you would like a decent/luxury stay.

I do applaud them on upgrading my room at no additional charge, although that should be given to each guest and not the bottle of the barrel rooms that need cleaning and renovation.

Stayed in the renovated Flamingo King Strip View room. The check-in kiosk was easy to use and we wanted our rooms close to the rest of our party and the front desk was happy to help us. The price was very appealing and the kids Beach Club pool was what made us pick this property. During the week, the Go pool is family friendly which was great because the Beach Club pool was so small, packed, and the rock slide is not open. Our room was clean and comfortable but nothing fancy or above average. We opted in for housekeeping but our room was never serviced. However, the text service Ivy was so easy to use and we were able to order more towels and toiletries with a quick text and it was delivered to our room. We ate at 3 restaurants inside Flamingo and were holy with the service and quality of food but our expectation were just wanting average food for average price. All staff at flamingo that we had contact with were outstanding and friendly.

Now for the cons: our stay was Sunday thru Thursday morning and I am very thankful we weren’t there on the weekend. By Wednesday night we noticed the party atmosphere had picked up significantly. This was our first time staying mid-strip and honestly we prefer either south end of strip or even the other side of strip. It seemed from harrahs to planet Hollywood was sketchy compared to south end of strip or even the cosmo/Bellagio/Mirage side. And the smell of marijuana was very noticeable through the casino floor and outside on the strip from harrahs to planet Hollywood. We didn’t notice it as bad walking the other areas of the strip

Although our room was clean and the staff were very friendly, I do not believe we will stay at Flamingo again or even mid strip on that side.

The pool is indeed closed for the season. Details are scarce, but the Flamingo Go Pool is undergoing a major overhaul. I was there on 10/1 and construction crews were working around the clock. You could see concrete and steel rebar being removed. The local paper reported they're looking to be open in time for Pool Season 2025, so my guess is they started so early because they want to be open sometime in March.

When we were there in July, they closed the pool for a day to fix a leak. Maybe that was just a bandaid solution with a bigger problem that they are addressing now.
