This is a very old, beautiful casino/hotel. Rooms are very nice, but no matter how high you get you will hear outside noises. Slept right through the noise just fine!! Beds are very comfortable, rooms are very clean and rates are wonderful!!

We really enjoyed the new venue at the Rio. The theater is in the round and the many acts were wonderful! Acrobats, funny skits, singing and dancing, a eye popping archery segment (runner up in America’s Got talent) , jokes, skaters, music and so much...More

Very quaint casino. I love all the antiques. Take a break from gambling and grab a guide from the front desk. It a scavenger hunt for their antiques. It gives the description, history and location of the piece. You get to hunt for it.
Great Experience, specially convenient for visiting Fremont street , Buffet was good, rooms clean and quite big.
Located in the real downtown Vegas, this beautiful hotel and casino is perfectly situated about a mile from all the lights and noise of “ The Strip “,

There was NO resort fee last April when I stayed there, but I checked recently and it's about $17.00 per night. Click on a site like Hotelswebsite and find MSS then put in your stay dates and check their rooms. You may have to scroll down the page and find the small print to see what resort fee they charge. This gets paid directly to them when you check in. I hope they list what it covers. Have a great stay and may the odds always be in your favor.!
