After booking for the big electronics show, I read the reviews. Was a little worried, but went in with an open mind. The property looked fine. The rooms were big compared to some of the hotels I've used. The decor was edgy and chic. It looks like is was a cool spot to go party for the weekend by the...

I went here last year with my sister. The place looked good from the outside. We got a deal online when all other places had crazy prizes. Had no option but to book this place. We had the worst experience ever. The staff behaved like we stayed there for free. The room they provided to us did not even have...

Pictures looked great, reviews seemed okay, but both are misleading. Issues are as follows: Horrible smell in hallways as well as room. Ash on the floor, dirty towels in the hot tub, stains on 90% of the decor/bedding. It was the cheapest hotel I could find without horrible reviews and it was NOT worth it. Avoid staying here at all...

To start with, the staff does not have information on events going on in Vegas, no help there at all. That was the smallest of my issues. The room was dirty. The floor was incredibly nasty and the tub had a nasty black film around it. The towels that were brought in when we had it "cleaned" were dirty. There...

I always love staying at the Rumor - awesome rooms and really easy access to the strip without being in a crowded, noisy hotel Clean and conformable room. Helpful staff at reception. Breakfast is basic, we missed regular breads. Room had coffee maker and breakfast area had microwave. The staff was great and very understanding to our schedule ( sleep...

Let me start off by saying I had good expectations for this hotel as the website and pictures made it look great. The check-in experience was great, friendly, and easy. The room on the other hand was not the best, we opened the door to the hallway to a blasting smell of weed/cigarettes. When we opened the door to the...

So I stayed at this hotel about 4 or 5 years ago and loved it, so I figured another stay on my birthday weekend would be okay. I was sadly disappointed and quite perturbed with my experience. My best friend and I stayed here for approximately half of the one night we paid for. One of the first signs we...

The only good thing I can say, is that the room was big. No towel racks in the bathroom, ice machines did not work, had to go to the bar to get ice. Hookers hanging around in parking lot. Got high from pot smell in the hallways. Pictures on website are very deceiving.

Mixed thoughts. Great concept. Rooms are roomy with balconies/patios. Chic design but the cleanliness and rundown rooms bring the star rating down. We had stains on ceiling. YUK. Trash in pail and balcony. Didn't take a shower because was afraid to. Unfortunately arrived at night and didn't notice until morning. It's a shame

We celebrated an anniversary in Las Vegas and were joined there by my wife's parents. We were glad to find a relatively small and reasonably priced hotel just about a mile off the "Strip" (the name given to Las Vegas Blvd., the street on which the best known hotels and casinos are located). It was a long weekend (Veterans' Day)...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Formerly St. Tropez, the hotel had become a relic amidst new developments. Today, it is re-imagined as the new RUMOR Hotel. Located where Paradise meets Harmon, directly across the street from the famed Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, the area is now home to some of the best bars, restaurants, nightclubs and gaming in the city. RUMOR embodies a powerful combination: chic, hot location, cool pool, zero attitude, modern rooms and unexpected amenities all in a boutique hotel setting. Featuring 150 suites, many featuring patios or private balconies, the two-story intimate hotel and resort does away with the impersonal casino lobby and instead opts for a cool ultra-lounge welcome with concierge-style check-in. Once checked-in to the room, guests are met with fantastic views of the swaying palms, distinctive wet-deck, the sparkling pool, seductive cabanas and the distinctive grassy knoll featuring both hammocks for the day and a DJ stage for night. While other hotels might have conference centers and ballrooms, RUMOR will use its unbelievable large courtyard and pools for amazing parties, fashion shows, corporate buy-out events and provide the perfect spot for couples wanting weddings with a twist. ... more   less
