Treasure Island - TI Hotel & Casino is celebrated for its prime location offering easy access to the Vegas Strip's attractions. Many guests appreciate the spacious rooms with scenic views, though some reviewers point out the rooms may feature outdated decor and encounter maintenance issues. The atmosphere captures a comfortable blend of charm and nostalgia even with some dated and worn elements.
Opinions on cleanliness and service are mixed; while the housekeeping is sometimes inconsistent and check-in can be slow, there are moments of helpful and friendly staff interactions. Despite some discontent over unexpected fees and resort fees, a number of travelers find it to be a reasonable stay for its central location.

Detailed Reviews
Got away from the Chicago winter with my wife and stayed at the TI for 4 nights. We selected a Strip View room which actually faced the distant mountains from our bed but we could clearly see the strip. Able to clearly see the Bellagio fountains. The morning sunrise over the mountains was beautiful.
The other reason we selected this hotel was because of the free in and out parking and the the location relative to the highways. We hiked Red Rock Canyon / Fire Valley & did the Grand Canyon Skywalk & then explored the strip at night. WARNING: Highway traffic is a nightmare even at 3:00pm & a GPS is a must.
Our room was clean and comfortable was made properly every day. There isn't a coffee pot so we brought a collapsible pot and it worked out great.
When we got there we had to pay a 100.00 deposit / day that is refundable if you don't use any services: plus 44 / day that you don't get back.
The gambling area was a bit smaller than the other locations but we really liked the set up. We actually came out ahead 125!!! We went to the Seafood Shack / sat at the bar and talked to a very cool BT; Frank. He spent time telling us about LV and its growth. We split a Chicken Nachos which was very filling: They also had a couple of excellent IPA's. Also there's an attached CVS where you can buy a big can of beer and walk around from machine to machine.

The TI is our go-to Casino on the Strip as we've never been disappointed and have always been treated like royalty. We've stayed at TI seven times and booked another stay in April. Can't wait to be spoiled again. We've stayed at many other Hotels on The Strip which didn't have coffee makers which include The Palazzo and The Wynn. Big deal. If you want a coffee maker book the Hotel 6.
The TI is the only Hotel that has an empty refrigerator that you can use without having to worry about moving the hotel supplied alcohol and snacks within it. Hotel elevator Security and free parking is a real plus. And if that wasn't enough, there's an CVS just off the Lobby and a free tram to the Mirage.
Great coupons at check in, free room upgrades, and an awesome quiet pool area until noon! Thank-you TI, you have a customer for life!

I've stayed at several different hotels on the Las Vegas strip. Treasure Island is in a great location and is a pretty nice hotel and casino, and is less expensive than a premium hotel such as Venetian or Caesars.
I stayed in a suite on this vacation, and I expected a nicer experience from this hotel. Overall, my stay was pretty good, but the hotel is suffering from a lack of maintenance and is deteriorating around the margins.
The only major complaint I had about my stay was that there was zero cell service in my room and the hotel wifi kept cutting in and out.
I have several minor complaints however. 1) The shower drain was missing a screw on one corner and was sticking up. I cut my foot on the sharp corner. 2) The soda vending machine on my floor was broken for the entire stay and the snack vending machine was mostly empty. 3) The toilet and sink ran the entire time. 4) There was no way to heat up water in my room... no coffee maker, no microwave. A drink is like $8 at the Starbucks in the lobby. 5) It's an incredibly minor thing, but ended up being quite annoying... I'm the kind of person who does want the cleaning staff in my room during a hotel stay, so I typically leave the privacy door hangar on my door the whole time. The hangar here kept falling off the door every time I'd go in or out of my room, which doesn't sound like a huge deal, but I ended up picking it up off the ground probably fifty times during my stay. This is a hotel with annual revenues exceeding $100 million, are you telling me they can't find a way to keep the door hangars on the doors? It's this kind of thing that shows Treasure Island just didn't pay any attention to the details, and are much more focused on extracting money from you at the casino.

Hotel location is good which is along the strip.
Free parking is available for driving guests.
Very long queue for check in and anyone can just cut the line which is very annoying. Booked for 2 nights but I was shocked that we were charged for almost $90 per night for resort fees, etc... which was not indicated in our booking thru Agoda.
No slippers
No toothbrush
No kettle
No FOC water bottle in the room
Safe box was not even working
For the price they charge these basic amenities must be provided. Hotel rooms are very rundown with Smelly carpets.
I would not recommend this hotel for its price. A total rip off!

The room itself was average but there were issues from the beginning with housekeeping. Upon check-in we discovered there were no bath towels but about 6 hand towels which we ended up using after showering. A call to HK to request towels which finally showed up at 11:30 pm along with more hand towels and another batch of towels showed up at 12:30 am after we had gone to bed. With no bath mat, we used on of the many towels we received as a bath mat. We left the room for the day only to return to find they had removed all the towels so by the 3rd day we were drying off with hand towels again. They also had not serviced the room and garbage cans were overflowing.
A meal at the 'Seafood Shack' was barely edible and the cocktails were unimpressive, especially for $13.
It's unlikely we'll stay here again.

We stayed at Treasure Island for three nights and 4 days to have our Las Vegas wedding on Halloween. From the time we checked in until we checked out the service and staff were amazing. Our flight landed early and we were lucky enough to be allowed to check in early. When we got up to the room, which was on the 35th floor, it was extremely clean and the strip view is amazing. I definitely felt comfortable with the measures they have taken to deal with Covid-19, even only allowing 4 people to an elevator, which did back things up, however it wasn't an issue at all.. The restaurants and bars in the hotel were great, the Coffee Shop has a great menu, and the staff was top notch.. All of the food was fantastic, drinks were on point and all of the staffinside the casino stores were extremely professional. The cleaning staff was very diligent in sanitizing/cleaning the room as well and they were cautious letting you back in your room if they were still cleaning it.They did have us swipe our card on the door to make sure the room belonged to us which I really appreciated. I would definitely recommend this hotel the next time you visit Las Vegas. In my opinion you definitely won't be disappointed.

The rooms were dirty and staff was not very helpful to where they would give false information and then blame each other on who knew more.... The pool area was ok expect the staff the security guard would be flirting with staff members but then would pick and choose which guests he wanted to pick on. Rooms were not cleaned everyday unless you went downstairs yourself and got towels or asked for your trash to picked up or even your sheets to be changed.

The hotel only provides poly-cotton sheets on all the beds. My wife broke out in a rash within minutes of getting into bed. I called to request cotton sheets instead, they lied and told us that all the sheets are 100% cotton. I pulled up the sheets from under the mattress, and found the label that stated Poly/cotton. I called again to request cotton sheets, but they claimed that they did not have one set of cotton sheets in the whole hotel. We were forced to check out of the hotel, and find another hotel instead. The hotel offered to refund the resort fees, but refused to give a refund for the hotel. When I called the hotel manager to complain, he just didn't care.

My husband and I checked into Treasure Island hotel, in Las Vegas, as part of a Globus Tours trip, Tuesday, Sept. 14, at approximately 4 pm, and were assigned room 5083.
We entered Room 5083 and began unpacking our personal items as we awaited our luggage.
Upon entering the bathroom, I observed an approximately 4 by 2 inch smear of fecal matter on the floor between the toilet and shower. I then noted that the toilet had not been cleaned, and also observed that the bathroom floor has not be sanitized and cleaned.
At, 4:15 pm, an initial call was made to housekeeping in the hotel to report the issue, asking for an immediate response so that we could shower and use the shower.
At 5 pm, we made a second call to the housekeeping, once again reporting the issue and asking for an estimated time of response, as we were due for a farewell dinner at 6 pm. We were assured that housekeeping was en route. At 5:15 pm, when still no response, we called our Globus tour director, to inform him of the issue and ask for his assistance. He was at the front desk and spoke directly to the a manager. A housekeeper finally arrived at 5:30 pm. I observed her reaction as she entered the bathroom, she was disgusted at the mess. She sanitized the floor and area, cleaned the toilet and then scrubbed the floor once again.
Later in the evening, my husband, our Globus tour director and I visited the front lobby to further discuss the incident in person with a hotel manager. Their response was an apology and a $50 room credit.
On 9/15, the sales manager for the hotel called to discuss the situation with us and assured us that there would be a full investigation. Her feedback was that the hotel was shorthanded and they were trying hard to keep up with consumer demands. I shared that I also worked in the service industry (healthcare) and that regardless of staff shortages, the bottom line is the health, wellness and safety of our customers. Being shorthanded is no excuse.
Given today's standards on health and safety, and the ultimate scrutiny of cleanliness, I am concerned that Treasure Island is not meeting these standards and their lack of focus could result in disease or illness of a traveler who stays at this hotel.

This hotel was mostly good, the room was clean, but did find some long hairs in the bed (assuming it was probably just the maids hair or something?) . Other than that, the view of the Las Vegas Strip was very nice from our room. The hotel did charge a 40$ resort fee per night, but that's just typical Las Vegas for you. There was no breakfast included so had to walk on the strip to find something reasonably priced. They did check to see if you had a card to go up to your hotel room, which was nice because you know it's not just anyone who they'd let up in there.
