Treasure island Hotel & Casino Las Vegas is a great place. The people are wonderful, and the food is great. Plus I hit very good on the slot machines. Starbucks inside the casino that opens at 6:00AM. Plus a Starbuck outside on the corner that...More

I actually know the answer to this question and I have first hand experience at Treasure Island. If you are a member of the Player's Clubs and as a result the casino's are able to track the dollars that you are spending or risking, many times they will offer you comps, or discounts. In Vegas you should always join player's clubs at any casino in which you gamble, eat or spend any money. If you present your card every time you spend money on anything, they will offer you nice discounts or freebies on shows, rooms, activites, gambling, etc. Maybe even free rooms with optional resort fees?!
The pool is located on the south side of TI and The Mirage is quite a distance away so you get lots of sun by the pool. Of course there are palm trees around the pool area to help block the intense sun....
