The room was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I has a massive heart in the lobby and thanks to the security and EMT, I survived to write this review. I would highly recommend The Palazzo.
This was our second time at the Venetian. You can't beat the location or the suites. I really liked how there was a separate living room so if someone wanted to sleep and someone else wanted to watch TV or just enjoy the incredible views (from the upgraded view) this was easily accomplished. The bathrooms are wonderful - shower and bath separated from the toilet, two sinks, make up table with stool and lit up mirror. It was over 100 degrees when we went in August, but you didn't even have to leave the air conditioned hotel if you did not want to. The Canal Shoppes are attached to the hotel, plenty of places to eat are in the hotel or the Canal Shoppes. You can get to the casino at the Venetian or the Palazzo without going outside. We had a view of the pools so you could see how busy they were or if there were any lounge chairs available. Hundreds of slots to chose from. Just a wonderful and classy hotel. Loved our stay!…
I love staying at the Venetian and the Palazzo. The rooms are spacious and standard suites. It's perfect for a family with kids. The hotel is clean and has outstanding service. I like how the check-in lobby is not too far from the guest elevators at the Palazzo. Venetian is out farther. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from in both hotels. Definitely recommend.
It's a beautiful hotel but very dissatisfied with having to pay a ridiculous amount of money for everything. No coffee makers in the room, the tap water didn't taste good so your forced to pay $5 a bottle of water. No mini fridge to store your own. Drinks aren't free or even discounted while gambling. Casino doesn't pay out well so we gambled elsewhere and did much better. Resort fees are over $150 per night in addition to the room cost and non-refundable at checkout. You are better off staying at another hotel and visit the Venetian.
Completely incompetent noncommunicative staff. Overcharged me $500 a night for a room and kept blaming everybody else for the screwup. They agreed that you can't charge me $450 one night and $1,000 dollars the next night but no one would fix the problem. I am an IHG diamond Ambassador, and they were no help either.
Was walked to the Venetian after my confirmed Palazzo reservation (made 6 weeks before arrival) was somehow dropped. I never received any type of email advising me of this. The Venetian is OK but showing it's age. Suite was large but with much wasted and unappointed space and a dirty window onto the parking structure. Television was old and small and we were there to watch football. Housekeeper was great and had a fast response as the room had only hard, artificial pillows. Towels and sheets are average if not poor. Compared to the Bellagio, Palazzo and other strip hotels in this price range, the Venetian was very disappointing, especially after the check-in surprise and change..
The Venetian is truly an outstanding property. We enjoyed our room, the great view of the strip and the most fantastic restaurants in Las Vegas. The Atomic Saloon show was a hoot. My wife and I noticed how really nice everyone associated with the hotel was. Smiles and friendly greetings greeted us wherever we were in the hotel. We especially enjoyed all the decorations for Chinese New Year including an 8 foot rabbit for the Year of the Rabbit. It was a pleasure to listen to the opera in St. Mark's square.
The restaurants were cool and the overall appearance. The rooms were a bit outdated and really need a face lift. Also had problem with them not dusting. CUT Restaurant was amazing, but is very expensive. Yardbird had good vibes. Other than that, nice place.
Loved our stay - beautiful big room and the casino is fantastic (except for the smoking on the casino floor!!). Super comfy bed, clean spacious room. We ate at a few restaurants which were great. The only downside was the trek we had to make back to our room - two lifts and quite a walk. Make sure you sign up for the Grazie rewards if you are gambling as you can get comped stays in future. Hotel is in a great position - easy walk to Fashion show and other casinos. Loved walking around the hotel and looking at the venetian aspects. Can strongly recommend the chocolate shop near the lobby for excellent coffee!!!
If I didn’t have “stuff” I could live full time in this beautiful room and marble bath. Comfortable, calming and cozy. Every detail from the crown moldings to the make up vanity have been thoughtfully executed.
