Week get to Vegas 2-3 times a year . Depending on our agenda is the area we stay . I have wanted to stay at the Tropicana for a while now. The location is great and the website says rooms have been renovated. First there are no curtains on the windows they have shutters that don't close all the way... More

Could not have been more pleased 😀 Stayed 4 nights and found staff to be friendly and helpful ... Location excellent ... Beach Cafe breakfast buffet delicious ... Room on 16th floor with fantastic view of Strip ( mesh covering on glass a little annoying ). We would stay here again and recommend to all.

Stayed here for 5 nights and we were in Paradise Towers so was really close to reception/casino so just an elevator ride down to ground floor. Also had a part view of the strip too. The Deuce bus run just outside of the hotel and the monorail was in the MGM hotel opposite so easy to get around from the... More

The last time we were in Vegas this was one hotel that needed updating being built in the 60's and originally one of the old hotels we weren't sure about staying here, but when we were looking at booking we saw that the Tropicana had be updated and refreshed and looked very fresh and inviting so we decided that we... We do not go on vacation very often so we were excited to go to Las Vegas. The Tropicana was recommended but I was very disappointed. The first day the room was very clean but after that not at all. We had to use our dirty glasses, they did not provided an extra role of toilet paper and Kleenex??? I... More

We stayed here for a long weekend on Nov 18 - 20th, 2016. The hotel was nice, clean, and the staff were pleasant. We stayed in the bangalow with a king bed. It was nice and spacious. Bathroom was nice and clean. There were fancy restaurant options within the hotel complex, but we mostly got our stuff from the little... More

Loved the Hotel as quiet compared to others on the Strip. Staff were great and very helpful to one of our party who has mobility problems. The cleanliness of the rooms could have been better bathroom floor dirty and the room dusty. Beds were comfortable, made fresh every day. Didn't know until we were told by other quests that you... Spent a week at the tropicana and thought that it was good value for money. A complimentary upgrade to a suite made it all the better. It is generally quite basic when compared against others but the refurbs have kept it looking fresh enough. Location is excellent on the south end of the strip with the enormous MGM Grand right... Overall this hotel was ok, old and smoke smell everywhere including our room. We in Vegas for a trade show needed our sleep. The first night was sleepless with people partying all night, after several calls to the front desk that were forwarded to “security” we got no help. In the morning we complained at the front desk and asked... More

My husband and I recently went to Las Vegas for a conference and stayed at the Tropicana. It is affordable and somewhat clean, a little dated and could use some updating. I understand that everyone smokes in Vegas, but we're not used to that in Canada anymore and the entire hotel smelled like stale smoke. Vegas in generally is the... More
