The hotel may be old however they have excellent service we observe them shampooing carpets in every room along with the chairs. Excalibur is very family friendly as well as they have excellent service across the board.
Over the years I have seen The Excalibur Hotel and Casino get a bad rap in mentions as not being a good selection for a hotel on the Vegas Strip. I was pleasantly surprised to find my room large, clean, in good shape, and with outstanding housekeeping service keeping me in towels, washrags, and toiletries daily. Something many hotels are skimping on using Covid as an excuse. The casino was also modern, clean, and with a great variety of slot machines. Excalibur is also well situated on the Strip near New York New York and Bally's.
The Excaliber hotel is on the far end of the strip and makes travel and navigation a bit more complicated. The hotel room is in need of a face lift but you get what you pay for. I didn’t want to pay a lot and it was a satisfactory alternative. There is a food court and one better restaurant on property. You can get to New York New York and MGM by skywalks and a free tram to Mandalay Bay and Luxor so there are additional food and entertainment options close by if you are willing to explore.
This hotel is officially tired. Be careful of the e-key on your phone, you will be waiting in a line to get a physical key that actually works. Moreover, because of the e-check in the staffing at the front desk feels lighter
The casino was nice, big and the experience was overall pretty cool. The staff could have been friendlier and the rooms could have also been a bit upgraded. I stayed at the resort tower side of the hotel and it just looked and felt older with no view of anything special just construction.
While obviously an older hotel, the bed was comfortable; the location is outstanding; and it’s a reasonably priced stay on the Strip. It won’t pass a top shelf option, it is an excellent stay on the Strip for the price. Would recommend to frugal travelers who want to stay on the Strip
First, I completely understand that Vegas is loud all hours of the day/night however when I am inside my room I should not be able to hear the people in the hallway having a normal conversation or have to deal with the curtains not closing and having to figure out how to sleep with the bright lights of the strip shining at me the whole time. Spend $10 more and go anywhere else.
We were able to get rooms all close together, early check in. Rooms were very clean and well stocked with an abundance of towels. Easy to navigate. House keeping was absolutely amazing, addressing any requests. Front desk service and bell service was excellent.
Great deals at this hotel which is pretty nice. Rooms very clean and casino has lots of games. Craps max bet is usually 15. Lots of restaurants open, even late at night. Overall, pretty pleased with my stay.
Check in was easy and fast. My room was ready in the morning in stead of afternoon. Plenty of food options in the food court. Dicks Last Resort had good food and the staff was fun. My room was OK nothing special but sufficient. Gamming was good but I like the old roulette wheels not the new ones.
