Our family stayed in a 2-bd rm cottage at Frontier Cottages (Wiltondale), which is about a half hour in one direction to Woody Point + Tablelands, and a half hour in the other direction to Rocky Harbour. The location is on the main road but we didn't fine much traffic noise as it's not a fast highway, and the cottages are located up off the main road. The cottage was clean and comfortable. They also have on site a cafe, and a store with ice cream, souvenirs, and a little liquor store. It was all we needed for a quiet stay to explore the area. We were surprised in the morning to see two beautiful horses eating grass outside our window, and the cottage owners also keep chickens, and have a nice swing so the kids enjoyed themselves.

These cabins are situated a stone's throw from Gros Morne Park. We stayed in a two-bedroom log cottage- but that sounds a whole lot more rustic than it actually was, although the walls were also wood, as was the beautiful floor. The main room had a decently-equipped kitchen (good assortment of pots, plates, plus thoughtful items like a colander, grater, and two sets of dishcloths and towels, and microwave (but a very old-fashioned can opener)), comfortable and good-sized sofa, satellite TV, and table that could accommodate six. The bedrooms each had a comfortable bed, with warm covers, comfy pillows, a good-sized dresser, night-table with lamp, and closet area. The bathroom was smallish, but clean, but needs an extra towel rack - only one for all the towels. The only disappointment came when I went to take a bath - the tub is very deep, and I was looking forward to a good soak, but the hot water quit before it was full. There is electric heat, which we had occasion to use, and worked well.
We stayed for 5 days, and were surprised and pleased to find that daily housekeeping was provided. Every other day, there were fresh towels, and every day, towels would be folded and put away, and dishes on the counter (draining after we had washed them) were put away, beds made, and so on.
There is a convenience store/gas bar/gift shop on site, also part of the property - but you'll want to go into town to buy any fresh food beyond basic groceries like milk, eggs, butter, bread - although there was frozen meat and fish available as well. The restaurant on site is basic and adequate - but not what you'd want to rely on for a longer stay.
This was a great place to see while visiting Gros Morne, and a good place to come home to at the end of a day of adventures.

We had a two bedroom cabin. It is Located at the beginning of the park. Walking trails are a short drive away. Cabins are very clean with daily cleaning service at no additional cost. They have a fireplace but we didn't use it as summer. We stay here every time we travel to the area.

This little gem cottage was PERFECT for our needs. Well located between Deer Lake, Rocky Harbour and Trout River, you can take advantage of the location and visit AS mich as you can while your stay. They have a convenience store with ice cream on the permises.
They have horses for your little ones to enjoy watching.
Pet friendly !!!
All you need for cooking, bathtub and shower, 2 bedrooms, futon in the living room and tv with Bell cable.
The only thing we should’ve brought was our Google Chromecast so we could watch our streaming shows/movies as this is not a smart tv and our little one only watches one show that wasn’t available but luckily we had a tablet for the rainy days.

This cottage was so clean!!
Bring your dog’s favorite blanket or bed as they are trying to preserve the furniture.

We really enjoyed our stay and were happy to find this place !!

A lovely clean place. Stayed in cabin 7 and it was spacious and comfortable , it had a king size bed and the bathroom had a huge jacuzzi tub. I would stay here again. I loved it. The owner is amazing. It is not to far from a lot of sight seeing spots. It got 5 stars from me.

I actually haven't stayed at those cabins but heard they were comfy.
I've rebooked my dates many times at different accommodations both in the province and out.
At this location, I wasn't allowed to do this and had to lose my full booking. I was told also that because they weren't given 7 days advance notice for cancellation that I would lose my nights rental payment. I had just booked 730 pm the day before and called to cancel 930 am the next day.
Bad customer service to say the least!

We stayed in the executive cottage and had a great stay! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The executive cottage was a good size for a couple and clean. The jacuzzi tub is pretty big. I recommend staying here and trying the cafe. I had the moose dinner and it was very good!

Prebooked a 3 room cabin for 2 nights. Arrived for our first night in Newfoundland and our cabin reservation had been lost- it took a lot of pushing to have them grudgingly help us book a single night of alternative accomodation

I'll start by saying the cabins are decent, the restaurant / cleaning staff were very polite and funny, wifi is terrible and there is no cell phone service available.
The service from Management was absolutely terrible. We stayed in March for a company snowmobile trip and had 4 cabins booked for our trip.
Somehow the management managed to mess up our reservations and then decided that they would charge us for an additional night after we had left their premises. No one even had the common courtesy to explain to us why we were being charged additional charges. When I attempted to get explanation from management, no one would return my calls. Managed to get a few email correspondence after. When I told them I had proof that they were aware of our reservation requirements, thats when the email correspondence stopped.
Its safe to say that the 15 guys who took part in this trip will not return next year for our company trip.
