My wife and I drove up for the day to escape the heat and ate at the old lodge. I've been going here for over 20 years and the food has been crappy for twenty years. This time I left my expectations at zero so it was a little better than cafe food that you're charged too much for. The...

If you want to experience a 7000 ft high scenery go to The Lodge on Mount Charleston! Wow! you will experience a high altitude feeling like no one. You will be welcome with Indian jewelries for all taste. Bring your dog on the terrace and enjoy a drink during watching the view! The mountains are so wonderful to look at!...

Cozy little lodge. Not a lot to do but it's a nice place to stay while doing stuff on the mountain, hiking, skiing, etc. We stayed on a Saturday in July. They had a live solo musician on the patio until 7 pm. He was great. Bar/restaurant is a little pricey but I live in Vegas so I'm used to...

This place has lots of individual cabins that despite being fairly close to each other provide enough privacy. The restaurant is decent, and even if it weren't it would be the place to go- for the views. This is as far up as you can go, next to the Cathedral peak turnoff. It's not cheap, nor easy to book, but...

Nice cabins with mountain view. It comes with small fridge, tv, microwave and dissent size of tub/shower. Also housekeeping did a good job except overused air freshener in the room. Don't try to look to remove somewhere hanging air freshener cuz there is none;) Just ask to mope the floor with hot water. Great location that offers hiking trails, full...

For my wife's birthday, we visited the cabins at Mount Charleston Lodge. With about 20 cabins to choose from, we picked "The Lovebirds" cabin. Rustic and charming, our cabin was set lower than the others, offering more privacy and a spectacular 180° view of the surrounding mountains from the balcony. In room Jacuzzi and fireplace added to the charm. The...

What a wonderful location and view to sit outside and enjoy breakfast. This was our first visit, it will not be our last. Service was friendly and good. My husband declared his chicken fried steak excellent. We live close enough that we probably wont be staying in one of the cabins but they looked very nice and you could not...

It is absolutely beautiful here!!! The lodge has the cabin feel to it!! Restaurant great food!!! It is a great place to put on the agenda when traveling to Vegas!! Still close to the Strip, about 20 to 30 minutes away. Well worth a side trip for a night or two. It is close for locals, yet gives you the...

After being in Vegas for 5 days, it was time to take a casino break and visit nature. We could see Mount Charleston from Henderson and since my friend who lives there had never been to the mountain we took the 1 hour drive to visit the area there. We were not disappointed! the views were breathtakinging. We took a...

We escaped the crowds and heat of the valley and went up to the mountains. After a nice day hike on the trails, we had a late lunch at the lodge. The food was fresh and delicious. The homemade chips were very tasty. We had a dog with us, but not a problem because they are dog friendly on the...
