When you first see the Plaza it might not look, like your ideal motel. However, looks can be deceiving. First off, the lady who runs it, Doreen, is a gem. She's caring, helpful (even gave us her old route atlas when we'd lost ours) and keeps the rooms spotlessly clean. OK, it's basic accommodation, but if you can be big enough...

No daily maid service or deadbolt on the door. Bed was old & we could feel the bedsprings.(A good thing was there was not one bug in the place! )Room smelled like cigarettes. Had a small refrig & micro but no coffeemaker. Probably wouldn't stay here again

I stayed here 2 nights while visiting Logandale Trails. The front desk lady is a little gruff on the phone, but was more friendly in person. The motel has about 10 rooms and looks rundown from the outside, but was clean inside. I was in unit 7, which was pleasantly quite large. 2 Queens, kitchenette with full size fridge (need...

When traveling to Valley of Fire State Park or leaving Las Vegas and heading to Utah, the Plaza Motel is your best bet. Close to bars and restaurants The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Clean and neat it is perfect for an overnight stay. .

Honestly, the outside might make you want to turn away. The host is a bit rough around the edges and her office/room smells strongly of cigarettes. Once we received our key we were quite nervous to check out the room. We checked it out anyways, as to not be rude of course. It really wasn't bad at all! The room...

when traveling by motorcycle, I like to stay at local hotels and eat at local cafes. I was ready to stop in Overton, and tried out the Plaza motel. The lady at the desk asked if she could show me the room when I asked about a vacancy. That surprised me. Although the motel was older, the room was clean....

The Plaza Motel is on the Overton's main drag just before the McDonalds and the exit from town. We arrived without a reservation about 10 PM on a Friday night in January after finding the $100 room at the other end of town a little pricey for our "clean & quiet place to sleep" needs. The owner showed us room...

Stayed there for one night to check out Valley of Fire (which was awesome). And our experience here wasn't bad, but I also don't recommend it. The room itself was cavernous and dated and included a kitchen -- full size fridge, electric stove, etc. -- but even with all of that cabinetry, there were no pots, pans, plates, cutlery, nothing....

We stayed here after we left Caliente NV and was making our way south, en route to Valley of Fire/Vegas. The motel's not exceptional, but it isn't bad either. The room is very spacious and clean, we didn't feel crowded in at all. It appears the owners live right on this property, so if there's any problems hopefully you could...
