STopped here thinking it was $45 a night. Turned out to be $56, but still worth it. Front desk was nice enough to upgrade me to a king from a queen, and the room was very nice. Only problem is there is no thermostat. If you want A/C you can only control the fan, not the temp. Bummer.

Used this hotel several times as base for skiing holiday. Situated between Peppermill & Atlantis casinos, both great for buffet style dining. Hotel staff always been helpful on dining options and public transport. Extra bedding always available. Rooms would benefit from a deeper clean but non smoking rooms appeared to be kept as non smoking rooms.

Near downtown but not downtown, near the airport but not at the airport the Vagabond Inn Reno is between the Pepper Mill and the Atlantis. Downtown Reno is more run down than I reclall. (I was last there 40 years ago). This motel was several blocks away from downtown but the neighborhood was OK. The actual motel was nicely maintained. My stay at hotel was nice and comfortable.This boutique hotel has a fabulous location in the heart of a place where all eateries,restaurants,branded showrooms,bars and shops are located. besides those historic concentric blocks which house anything and everything.

The room was clean enough and got the job done but what stood out for me was the willingness to go the extra mile for customers. My wife and I chose this venue for its affordable price and location 2 blocks south (easy walking distance) of the Pepper Mill Resort where our friends had been staying for an annual convention. With reservations, got to hotel at approx 9:30PM and there was a notice on the locked front door with a note 'back in five minutes' Had to wait 20 minutes before someone returned to check in. Although I'm not sure what is "executive" about this location, we found it a reasonable place to stay while visiting Reno for a weekend dog agility competition.
