Tahoe Summit Village is not without its flaws, but a pretty cool location can help make up for a lot of them. Upon initial impression, the property is well maintained. There are not a lot of offerings (i.e. on-site pool, spa, etc.), although the natural landscape does provide recreation in itself. There is sufficient parking for guests and the office... More

BE FOREWARNED! ALL middle units are horrible! Only one window in living room and it faces the stairwell which means zero views and little outside light. Bedroom windows face a giant wall (probably to protect from avalanches) so it's very dark and depressing. There are no private balconies or patios. Rooms and all furniture are pathetically outdated, old and dingy.... More

We were on the top floor (90+ stairs and no lift) so had to lug our cases up in the searing heat. We had top floor middle room - unbearably hot and no air-con. Mezzanine bedroom had no window so it was like an oven and no one could sleep up there. Had to sleep on settee and chairs. Provided... More

I'll start with the pros, there are amazing views and plenty of parking. The lady that worked at the front desk was super helpful and very nice. The cons: our condo was very outdated, on the top floor, right in front of the staircase. There is no air conditioning so we had two windows in the whole unit with no... More

We have an annual vacation with friends where we get away to explore the area and enjoy time together and this year we choose South Lake Tahoe and ended up using our timeshare to stay at Tahoe Summit Village. The location is about 15 minutes from the main town but there isn't much on the mountain so plan to bring... More

Nice place, good for families, away from most retail, lots of stairs, great access to snow & slopes. Be prepared to pack your food amenities in, up flights of stairs. Sleds and board games offered at front desk, if you are so inclined.

We have come up to this rental about once a year for the last 7 years or so and everytime we enjoy it and the things we can do nearby more and more! About the only downfall about it is that you have to take about a 5 minute drive to get to the shared pool area. However, there is... More

We love our view. We did have to climb stairs, but well worth it. Would stay here again and again. Plenty of room for 3 adults and 2 kids. Kitchen is well stocked with all the items needed to cook and eat with. Staff is very attentive and helpful.

The condos are at about 7,700 feet so be sure you can handle that altitude We were lucky to obtain a condo that didn't have the many stairs most units have. The condominium developments on the Kingsbury Grade are a great location for skiing Heavenly Valley. There is a shuttle but you need to walk down a steep slope to... More

Steep stair to get to your room, room was dark and dingy, accommodations are lacking the only time I have ever gone to Tahoe and not had a good time. Will never go to Tahoe summit village again. I do not believe even a remodel could help. There is a decent restaurant that make a good bloody mary just down... More
