Tonopah town has long since faded from its glory, but nthe recently renovated Mizpah hotel in the middle of the town would argue against that. We were passing through on an industrial tour of Nevada, and for the few previous evenings we had stayed at bland chain hotels. But teh Mizpah is totally different. With retro (but new) furnishings in...

Stayed here to take the Otteson's Turquoise Mine Tour located in the hotel. The restoration is lovely and the staff is the greatest! I had heard of the "haunted factor", so we asked it we could stay in or next to the "Lady in Red" room. But, she didn't bother us at all. Bed was comfortable, but the bathroom is...

We stopped here for a meal after a long drive. The hotel has been beautifully restored and has a very interesting past. Particularly liked the safe/strongroom and furnishings. If you believe in ghosts there is a spooky story to be had here. Unfortunately the meal was nothing particularly noteworthy.

The new owners have done a remarkable job of restoring a historic site. Very warm and welcoming after a long drive north from Arizona. Room was very comfortable, bar was inviting and friendly, and coffee shop was great! Since most guests are traveling and cars are loaded with luggage etc, secure parking lot would be the next focus point.

Stopped here on our way back from Oregon. The interior of the hotel is gorgeous. Had lunch in the café and found it to be reasonable priced and quite tasty. If you love the history of old Nevada stop here and take a look around

At first sight this reminded me of Jerome az or the hotel monte vista of flagstaff az...weird! This is a classy place for Nevada in the middle of nowhere and the food and beverage provisions are above par. Local microbrews and wines, vegetarian selections along with meat lover foods and bloody marys for morning. Pet friendly, classy rooms and bath...

We drove from Oregon to Arizona and spent the night at the Best Western in Tonapah on the way South. We saw the Mizpah and decided we would stay there on the way back up because it looked super fun. This place really takes you back. We hate to even point out any of the negatives because the entire staff...

This hotel is amazing and is like taking a step back in time. The interior is very nicely decorated in time period decor. Service is good and it has a nice cafe and restaurant (which was not open for meals)....love all the antique furnishings......not much to do here but worth staying a night here!

We had dinner here as we stayed one night in Tonopah. The interior is really historic and interesting and the service ok. We had one plate with steak and the other one was menu of the day - clam chowder and salmon. The steak wasn't tender and the vegetables cooked too much. The salmon with rice was first cooked and...
