Perfectly acceptable for a one night stop in a town that wasn't on our plan. The room was comfortable and we slept well. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was ok but nothing special.

No bells and whistles here but a clean and decent room. Bed was pretty comfortable and water pressure in shower was good. Hot water was long in coming but when it did it was plentiful. Check in clerk (maybe owner/manager) was kind and helpful and made process quick and easy. Surfaces such as nightstand and other counter tops could stand...

I stayed here on my way back from visiting a former roommate in California. The place is very basic. The shower flow was ridiculously bad and it took a long time to get hot water. As well, there is no shelving in the stall, so you have to have your soap, shampoo, etc. on the floor. The "breakfast" was unhealthy...

Clean, big room, friendly proprietor. Noisy air conditioner kept me awake. Door lock was pretty worn out. Right on the main street and close to other services. The continental breakfast was stark but adequate, the owner tries. No smell of cigarettes anywhere which was great! We did have a refrigerator and microwave but not there long enough to use them....

Inexpensive clean and safe. It's great for an overnight stop. It's a great place for an over night stay. Perfect for a budget family. Cont. Breakfast included. The rooms are clean sheets are new. The family that runs it is very nice and helpful.

We were traveling from Yellowstowne to Yosemite and needed a place for one night that accepted pets. The people that run this motel are super nice. While the motel itself was clean, it needs updates. After we pulled into the parking lot, we briefly considered other options. Made some class and decided to chance it. It was OK, but would...

Room recently remodeled. Wonderful family business. Made us feel very welcome. Great parking for bikes. Even had a hose for washing up! Centrally located for all events. Room was cleaner than Embassy Suites in Portland.

This is a perfect place to stop for someone wanting a clean bed for a "one night and get back on the road" hotel. The room is not fancy, no frills, a little rough, but a great price for a clean room. We took a hint from the other reviewers and asked for an upstairs room. We would definitely stay...

Stayed at the Scottish Inn for one night while enroute to another location. Reception staff was friendly and the room was ok. Plenty of hot water in shower. Drawbacks were noise. It is very noisy especially in the morning when the guest leave and the 5:30 AM garbage truck outside picking up dumpsters at the businessess nearby. We did not...

We've stayed here a bunch of times. The location is very central; it's close to the convention center and walking distance to restaurants we like. We like that the rooms have refrigerators and microwaves, and the rates are better than for some of the chain motels in town--I just can't bring myself to pay $90 or $100 a night for...

“All rooms are about the same except the area that had a second floor. Staying under the second floor would be very noisy.”

“Gold mining is booming in Winnemucca, and this motel is popular with drill workers, so the parking lot is full of big, muddy trucks, and you may hear all the drill workers getting ready for work at 4:00 a.m. If you are a light sleeper, you'll want to be upstairs, so you don't hear your upstairs neighbor clomping about before dawn. The rooms that don't directly face the street get less traffic noise, too.”
