We have stayed at this motel for both of our visits to Storyland in Glen, NH. It is about 10 minutes away from the park, and close to other restaurants and attractions as well. The rates are reasonable and the kids play area/structures are great. The screened in porch had a bit of an odd odor, but we didn't spend...

Just returned from our second stay at North Colony and as usual we had a wonderful stay! Nancy and her husband do an outstanding job making sure their guests like us feel welcome. Rooms are spotless and have all the amenities of a 5 star hotel. Short drive to Story Land and nearby restaurants. Already planning to return next summer.

Pros: affordable, room was very clean (especially bathroom), good location, just north of busy north Conway, nice play area, DVD player in each room, friendly staff. Cons: heated pool a bit cold, bathroom had no venting and window which could not be opened, bed a bit creaky.

We had such a wonderful stay at the North Colony Motel. The motel owners clearly take a tremendous amount of pride in the cleanliness of the guest rooms, and of their property overall. My toddlers adored the play area, which is apppointed with "crooked playhouses", quality rainbow play sets, an extra deep sandbox, and little tykes activity items. The pool...

Thank you nancy for a wonderful weekend. The north colony motel was the coziest, comfortable place to stay for myself, husband, twelver year old and 2 1/2 year old. The recommendation for the red fox for dinner was great. Storyland was less than ten minutes away. Trails end ice cream was great at the end of the long park day....

The rooms were super clean and freshly painted. we also went during a heat wave and the AC was a lifesaver. The room also had a large fridge, microwave &...

We took a trip up to Storyland and booked at the North Colony Motel due to the ratings on TripAdvisor and the Storyland package offered by the motel. I travelled with my husband and two children (ages 1 and 3). We rented a cottage and the stay was perfect! The property and cottage was absolutely spotless. The owners were great...

We stayed at the North Colony Motel on a trip to Storyland with our 3 and 6 year-old children. It's a 5 minute drive to Storyland and the motel has a very affordable package deal. The motel has got an excellent playground and a heated pool. The kids spent a lot of time on the playground (it's as nice as...

We spent one night there and I really wish we had booked for more. The motel is small (15 rooms, max?) but the rooms are spacious. We had 2 Double Beds and still had plenty of room for our daughter's pack n play. The playground is fantastic (and probably the highlight for my daughter). We were greeted by Joe, the...

My cousin’s family and ours booked a 2 night Storlyland package and stayed on the rainiest weekend so far. When we arrived we were greeted with a list of things we could do indoors by the owners which I thought was very helpful! They also knew we were coming and had our rooms ready early for us. The playground was...
