A very special find!! Small, family oriented, quiet and relaxing hotel. The rooms are exceptionally clean. The owners are very friendly. The lodge is beautiful with an indoor pool and there is an outside pool as well. The special treats are a campfire every night sitting by the brook. And the trout pond!! Watching and feeding the trout is an...

My wife, a landscape painter, and I made a spur-of-the -moment decision to go to New Hampshire to paint and enjoy the scenery. Stonybrook had nice rooms, but the grounds were beautiful with an iris surrounded trout pond and a small river. The two swimming pools were very enjoyable. The best assets of Stonybrook are Tom and Pauline. It was...

We spent two nights at the motel. The rooms, while not fancy, were clean and comfortable. The cost was very reasonable. What made our stay most enjoyable was the recommendations of Pauline Palmer, the propritress, who sent us to two very fine restaurants and arranged our ride on the Cog RR at Mt. Washington. The grounds around the motel are...

We were looking for a place for our Family Reunion and found the Stonybrook on the internet. We have been vacationing in the White Mountains for many years but had never seen this motel in our earlier travels. Their website looked perfect for what we wanted. Sometimes websites lie but Stonybrook came through with flying colors. 8 acres of fun...

The Stonybrook Motel & Lodge in Franconia was clearly the best among all the places we stayed at during our recent trip. First of all, the hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. The place is well kept, nothing fancy, but just what you expect in a place like this. On all beds, a teddy bear is waiting for you, and...

Stonybrook Lodge & Motel is located in a small piece of New England heaven called Franconia Notch. Although a bit dated and in need of some appearance improvements, this is a great place for launching your stay in this beautiful area....with many activities in short driving distance, plus it is a value destination with great rates. (Staying in a lodge...

The Stonybrook Motel & Lodge is perfect for its setting in Franconia, NH. It is easy to get to. The rooms are clean and spacious (each bed comes with its own teddy bear!) and the price is reasonable. The motel rooms flank one end of the premises and on the opposite end sits the lodge, complete with fireplace, swimming pool,...
