We have stayed many times at Harrisvile Inn and experienced several different rooms. Each room had its own charm and all were comfortable. The real strength of this place are the hosts:Bob and Maria. With little notice Maria will accommodate any dietary restrictions and produce a delicious locally sourced, when possible, breakfast. Recently we stayed here and got snowed in...

I went to Harrisville for a class and had reservations at a rooming house, but found out when I arrived that the rooms were on the third floor - with no elevator. Since I have difficulty with stairs, I knew this would be impossible and was afraid I would have to leave. Then I called the Harrisville Inn B&B and...

My husband and I first discovered this inn last May, when I attended a spinning (wool) class at nearby Harrisville Designs, and we enjoyed our stay enough to return in September. The inn is far enough off the beaten track to be quiet, but close enough that my husband golfed daily in Keene and we dined in Peterborough. You are...

We spent one night at the Harrisville Inn on the first leg of a weeklong trip. Maria, the innkeeper was very accommodating and showed us the rooms that were available. The one we took was very well decorated, very clean, and had a jacuzzi in the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great night sleep. The place...

We had a wonderful stay. Beautiful house (ca. 1842) and area, Maria is a wonderful hostess and makes a delicious breakfast. Rooms are good-sized, nicely decorated, and feature private baths. Very highly recommended.

Wish we didn't have to leave! Our daughter graduated from the Dublin School. When we showed up Friday morning with our other children, Maria asked what they wanted for breakfast! While having wine in the garden, Maria asked if we wanted some cheese, crackers. Such kindness only enhanced our 3-day stay. There's a recently built addition; it could easily seat...

We enjoyed a comfortable 2 days here while we shopped in Peterboro and Keene. We were fed a filling and tasty breakfast. Hot tea and coffee was always available. The house is very old with creaky floors, but the rooms are comfortable with your own heat control. We were glad to have our room toasty, since the rest of the...

Maria is the most gracious hostess and a wonderful cook! She will send you off each day with a delicious, hearty breakfast. The Inn is spacious and comfortable. It really is like being at home - only better.

A delightful B&B in Monadnock region of New Hampshire. Built in 1842 as the caretaker's home for a nearby mansion, it has been lovingly maintained, updated, and furnished with antiques. Each of the 5 rooms has a private, modern bathroom. Linens and towels are VERY nice and changed frequently. Breakfasts are different daily, each of the four we had were...

We booked our reservations at the Inn based on location; our son was getting married in Harrisville, and it was less than a mile away from the village. What a pleasant surprise! Maria, our innkeeper, has the perfect balance of involvement without "hovering", of service and interest without the artificiality so common in this lodging category. At one time over...
