Paying homage to the longstanding Gibson House, the newly established the Deep Sleep Inn takes a darker spin on the traditional bed & breakfast. Pulling the shroud over this Greek and Gothic revival house, we open the doors to New Hampshire’s first dead & breakfast where you can slumber peacefully in any one of our six resting places. After sleeping like the dead, enjoy fresh coffee and breakfast options made with locally sourced ingredients on the patio overlooking the picturesque Vermont Mountains.

The newly renovated Deep Sleep Inn was an incredible mix of quaint New England bed and breakfast with a hip monster mash theme. In addition to the main living quarters, each room has its own spooky theme and history (as well as their own private full bathroom). If you’re looking for a nice escape from the day to day routine look no further! Thanks Sam and Gabby for being such great hosts, I look forward to coming back in the future.

We had a wonderful few days at the beautifully appointed Gibson House B&B. Our room was bright and spacious, the bed and bedding extremely comfortable and accommodations spotless. Our breakfast was outstanding, with delicious home-baked treats daily, as well as delectable omelettes made to order - and the best freshly brewed coffee. Our hosts, Marty and Susie, took care to ensure that all of our needs were met. They gave us excellent recommendations for the best things to see and do within driving distance of Gibson House. We hope to return again and again!

What a beautiful house, full of character, just like the hosts Marty and Susie. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. This old character house has been renovated . The hosts were kind, interesting, and a joy to be around. I arrived on a bicycle and they were very accommodating. In addition, the thing I appreciate is that is has been updated to have all the safety equipment (fire alarm and sprinklers) installed.

We had the recent pleasure of staying at the Gibson House B&B with my husband and son. The room was beautifully decorated, bright and very comfortable. The grounds lovely, breakfast delicious, and the location is perfect. Most lovely are the owners, who are extremely warm and hospitable. My son left his sweater at the house, and it was immediately mailed to us too! Thank you for the great stay and extra effort, it was a pleasure to meet you!

We stayed here in July 2011. We were immediately alerted to the ramshackle condition of the exterior of the house...a foreshadowing of the inside!!! The rooms were large, and we did have a renovated bathroom, but our room was dirty. Dust all over the windowsills, moldings..only the barest of housekeeping had been done. Dust in the hallways, cobwebs on the chandeliers. We were hoping that the breakfast would compensate for the general lack of cleanliness, but no such luck. Some fruit on our table, an unappetizing "french toast" and a strip of beef bacon. And the cost was just about $200.00 per night. Definitely overpriced for a night's sleep. The innkeepers were friendly, but that does not make up for an overall unpleasant experience.

Artist/Buyer beware…this is falsely advertised. I stayed here for a painting workshop where there was supposed to be a studio to paint in . It turned out to be the basement storage area with hanging lights NO sunlight nor windows. It was filled with empty boxes had water damage and worst of all smelled of mildew. The room I stayed in while was nice, had mildew on the shower curtain….. These prices are what I pay when I go to New York not worth the cost. This is so overpriced for what it is!

Enjoyed teaching my pastel and oil workshop at the Gibson House. Susan and Marty are gracious helpful and provide wonderful breakfasts and lunches. Lovely, big clean rooms and a great area! I did not stay during my workshop because I live near, but my students liked the rooms they had and the ones I saw were really nice.

Booked it for a wedding in the area.. plans changed... I called to cancel and the Innkeeper hung up on me twice and she called me annoying for calling during breakfast. Consider this while forking over your hard earned $$$

This individual called us repeatedly in the space of 30 minutes asking to cancel a reservation. They were told that the cancellation would be processed and the refund issued the same day, which it was.

Nice innkeepers, lovely garden, exceptional food, but the Inn itself seemed like it needed refurbishing. Some of the rooms were nice but ours was a C-. No a/c. Parking was an issue since the Inn was at full capacity. The business room in the basement was small and dank.
