We had four days to stay around Jackson, NH, and all Inns we looked at only had two days open, so we split our time in-between two Inns. Our room had a large balcony, and since it was July, we enjoyed evenings out there. The room had a working fireplace, but I did not want to use it and smoke everyone out. The color scheme of our room was darker in person that the lighter, airier colors in the photos, but it did not detract. There is no television in the Inn, but the owners are very upfront about that upon booking. We chose to eat our two dinners there (as it was 15 miles - 20-25 minutes to the nearest town) and they were both good food, nice variety (a set menu each night where one chooses between several entrees and appetizers). The wine list was really good, and we bought a bottle (Rodney Strong Pino Noir). The owners and staff are very attentive, kind, informative (need a hike? They have tons of suggestions tailored to your needs and abilities). The Inn dogs are sweet, trained and lovely. The Inn keepers really go out of their way to make your visit all you needed it to be, Bottom line - a wonderful get away from it all place - but with outstanding hiking right across the street (into the White Mountains)

We went to the Inn at Jackson a few weeks ago for some late season outdoor activity and got a little more than we bargained for. The Inn itself is awesome- spacious clean room , tasty breakfast choices and great location. We felt safe there and wish that the common areas were open. On our second day there a significant storm came through, knocking out the power for what turned out to be about 36 hours. We stayed through the night but eventually had to leave as it was just too cold and our computer batteries died. Nonetheless, the innkeeper Michele was very accommodating and managed to whip up breakfast the next morning despite the hardship. We were allowed to cancel the balance of our stay without penalty and were very pleasantly surprised to get a gift certificate for 2 nights for a future stay. She didn't have to do that but it is was VERY much appreciated and we will return! Honestly, this is the way to handle a crisis, so many other travel providers make it very difficult to a credit or refund- thank you Michele!

For Christmas my husband booked two nights a week for the months of January and February. When we first arrived Michelle, the Innkeeper made us feel right at home, asked us if we had any favorite breakfast foods and, even though there isn't coffee in the room she pulled out a Kurig and had it in our room every week when we arrived. It's been a tough year for everyone, but they had Covid policies that made us feel safe. he warm scones for breakfast every morning are the best. Staff Dan and Jenna made us feel right at home too. I want this present again next year!
