The Lake Opechee Inn is a nice quiet place to stay, especially in the off season, which we found out in October. There's really not much at all to do in October in the area, most attractions shut down the day we checked in. Checking in was a breeze, and the service was friendly at least when we checked in....

While traveling through New England this fall, one of our stays was at the Lake Opechee Inn. We loved everything about it. Our room was amazingly spacious, with a wonderful lake/rustic decor. Sitting on Lake Opechee, we had the pleasure of viewing Canadian geese taking respite from their long trek South. The front desk staff were truly hospitable. New England...

i had read the reviews and knew certain shortcomings going in --lake view is not pristine, right on the edge of town, etc. our party booked three rooms and were all happy. the armchairs are comfortable and being able to turn on the gas fire is warming on a visual and actual level.its also nice to be in a room...

We booked a room with a lake view, which we had, but we were partially distracted by a driveway, a car park and some buildings next door, but we could see the lake. The room was quite spacious with a fireplace and gas fire. The gas fire would be lovely on a cold day but it was constantly in standby...

I was here for a work outing, dinner program at their restaurant. The restaurant was incredible and so cozy. The hotel and rooms were great. The comforter and sheets are so COMFORTABLE!! I actually want to buy the duvet cover - which, you can apparently. The rooms have fire places in them. They are all different themes and unique. I'm...

Outstanding . Beautiful place. The room was very nice. Our balcony was over looking the lake. There is access to use our kayaks which we did. The restaurant in the inn was very good. Our room had a jacuzzi in it along with a fire place. The continental breakfast was fantastic . The staff was extremely helpful and very pleasant.....

I stayed at the hotel for a wedding. It was very cute, the rooms were all different themes and a very good size, we had a balcony overlooking the lake. The complimentary breakfast was a nice addition especially as the room rates are very high, especially for that area. The hotel is very quaint right on the lake but it...

Just left Lake Opechee Inn & Spa after a five night stay for the Timberman triathlon. We stayed in room 100 and it was perfect for our needs. The room was clean and had a balcony overlooking the lake. We sat out there and watched sunsets enjoying a glass of wine. The jetted tub was perfect for the after race...

This place is in a beautiful area of N.H.. The room was the Sadie Hawkins room. (Each room had a special name and theme) We especially liked the over stuffed chairs and ottoman in front of the fireplace.Everyone from the Inn,that we came in contact with were very helpful and friendly. Sure could have spent a week instead of just...

Would love to return with husband to further explore the area - mid-week rates are reasonable for retirees - wonderful, friendly town with a spa in hotel that I didn't have chance to try but heard was clean and beautiful.
