We stayed in room 11. Extremely clean room. Comfortable bed. Cute sun room off of our room and private deck. Nice view of the surrounding mountain. Great gazebo. Owner was friendly and fun to chat with. Much better option then pricier rooms near the beach. Only a few minutes drive to the MT Washington boat and Weir beach. Had a nice pool but we didn't go swimming because it was packed with people. Beautiful flowers everywhere. Definitely a must stay when you visit Laconia.
Stayed here at the suggestion of my sister. Was very pleased. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the whole place is immaculate. Rooms are very, very nice with new baths. Would surely stay again.
We stayed at the Bay Top for 2 nights during Bike Week. It is a family-run motel, and staff is helpful and nice. Our 2 queen room had air conditioning, Wifi, a microwave, frig, hair dryer and plenty of garbage/recycling bins. The bathroom had been renovated and there were plenty of towels and toiletries each day. This is a nice motel just 6 blocks from Weirs Beach. I would definitely stay here again if we were in the vicinity. Both the grounds and the room are kept up nicely.
We were about to check out (bags already in car and key to 1 of our rooms turned in) but decided to go get breakfast first at one of the places they recommend for breakfast. The owner thought we'd checked out and weren't coming back and noticed I'd left a cap in my room. He was so considerate he drove to the diner in case we might be there and brought my cap in to me! The gardens are amazing with lots of exotic plants we'd never seen before. The bathrooms looked new. The coffee is just outside the rooms and includes about 6 varieties/flavors of creamer.
I booked this on impulse bc it was affordable without reading any reviews, so my expectations were pretty low- boy, was I surprised! I only stayed one night, but I will definitely be back. This place is walking distance from Weirs Beach, bars, etc. The grounds were meticulously kept with an abundance of exotic, beautiful flowers, the rooms were spotless, the beds were nice and firm, the hot tub over looked the gazebo which was covered with white twinkle lights and flowers, the shower head was strong, the towels were soft....I could go on. There is not a continental breakfast (but they do offer hot coffee) and this place is VERY quiet, so not great if you want to party. The owners definitely have a unique and particular touch. You can tell they REALLY care about their property.
