This was our little piece of heaven. We rented T1 which is a beautiful camper that had its own deck with a babbling brook running right along side. We couldn't have asked for a nicer get away. Everyone was very pleasant and friendly, even the ducks. Especially when you feed them. So glad I happened upon the Country Bumpkins website... More

This place was small, but it was family-friendly, clean, cute, and you cannot beat the location. It's practically next door to Clark's Trading Post and it's within a few minute drive to almost EVERYTHING you could want. The riverfront sites are so wonderful. We had an RV and took site# 22, so we could listen to the river while we... More

The location being right beside the river and brook create a great outdoor experience that is not too much to handle for families with children. The best part is how clean the facilities are. The bathrooms are kept tidy and clean all throughout the day. The staff are kind and helpful when you need assistance. We have been going here... More

We were traveling through the area and seen this little campsite with a general store out front. Wanted to get some drinks and a couple of souvenirs from New Hampshire. Although, this is a campsite, there is a general store out front. We asked if we could use the bathroom and was told they were for the guests only. You... More

The store/gift shop is attached to my house. I do not allow general public browsing through the store to go in my home to use the bathroom. We have bath houses for our registered guests in the cabins/campground. I am sorry you were offended by this. I have been to many gift shops (big and small) etc … that do... More

We traveled from Indiana to New Hampshire to backpack in the White Mountains for 5 days. We could not have picked a better place to stay. We were treated like family. They offered coffee daily, stored our food at night to keep it away from bears, and gave a ride to town one day. They even stored our non backpacking... More

We are back again this year. Oh boy, how I love this place. If you read a bad review, consider that nobody will be pleased 100% all the time. Simple place, caring owners and awesome staff! Calming springs surround you with a relaxing atmosphere! It's after Labor Day, no many people around. The shower still the warmest I ever been!... More

We've stayed at this campground twice (for three nights) now and had a great time both trips. We stayed both trips in the two bedroom cabin. The cabins are a bit small & rustic but have all you need. The cabin sites are fairly private which is nice. We love having a full kitchen & our own bathroom with shower.... More

We stayed 4 nights on site 43. Full hookups. Service was great from the maintenance to the customer service. It's right on the Pemi and you can see the Clark's steam locomotive across the river. It's so close to a lot of activities, but the area was so nice, I hated to leave the camper! We will be making it... More

Stayed here for one night at a tent site on river. Neighboring tents are less than 10 feet away with no trees or shrubs in between sites. As if that is not bad enough, foul mouthed drunkards in next site over were up till 3am raising hell. No management oversight whatsoever. Never again. I have stayed at ~50 campgrounds and... More

Dear Michael, We are sorry that you were disturbed by other campers during your stay. We do not allow late night partying here at the campground. We are not a resort type campground where we can have security watching over the campers 24/7. For this reason, each guest is given an ‘After Hours’ phone number to call if there are... More

My family stayed in T34, one of the rental campers. It more than met our expectations. It was spacious, clean, and provided what we needed for dishes, cookware, etc. The bunk room allowed enough space for us to fit a pack and play for our youngest. While our camper met our bathroom needs, I did check out the campground bathrooms... More
