Beautiful KOA. The exit for the campground does have a few restaurants but other than that there isn’t much around. The camp is located on the river (which you can swim in) and was fairly quiet. We had a small cabin set back on a creek and when it down poured all you could hear was the rushing water. There were two restrooms down near the cabins and then both men’s and women’s up at the office. The two restrooms nearest to us were usually occupied but the walk up front wasn’t terrible. The store had anything you could possibly need and the laundry room was clean and well maintained. The kids did hop in the pool but said the water was very cold. We loved the campground feel while still having the cabin amenities (beds, mini fridge, electricity, fan.) From here we went down to Franconia Notch and Kancamagus Highway two different days to do some hiking and sightseeing and the drive (30 mins) was scenic. The camp hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly and chatted with us several times.

A very nice campground with easy access to sites. A host brings you to your campsite and helps with aligning your rig to be level. Speaking of the hosts, extremely friendly and helpful. Our A/C stopped working and Don came and assessed the issue. The issue was resolved quickly! Lots of activities on the weekend for all members of the family. Lovely campground right on the river. Only downside is it’s also on Route 302 so road noise is an issue.

great place, next to a river, which is maybe was high in some places, otherwise knee high, perfect for a slow river fun.. place has cabins, rv sites and tent sites, staff is friendly, bathrooms are clean and cleaned all the time, little store is supplied with most of your needs, after putting out tent up, we went out hiking , we found 4 bundles of fire wood next to the pit, complimentary from KOA, which was a pleasant surprise.. waking up to birds, and ducks and other animals in area was a pleasure. highly recommend for camp stay..

Clean landscaped campground, nice bathrooms and the river is very pretty. HOWEVER, the campground is located right on the side of Rte. 302, with no barrier other than a thin line of trees. Our site was by the river, but we still heard the highway loud and clear 24/7. Just down the road is a large commercial district with Lowes, Home Depot, Walmart, shopping plazas, so the 18-wheelers were speeding down the road all hours day and night. It was like camping in a highway rest area. We stayed during the week, and were one of only 3 sites occupied, which would normally be nice; however the maintenance people worked on the grounds all day, with mowers, trimmers, and trucks moving mulch and lumber. A couple mornings some huge truck showed up at 6 am either to deliver wood or empty the dumpster. We were flabbergasted at how noisy it was ALL the time, it was inescapable. For that reason alone, we would not book again, or recommend it for those who like to hear the water or birds while camping.

Stayed here for 1 week. A nice campground that is currently under way with continuous improvements under the new management. Tent sites along the river, cabins to rent, and many RV sites, most with full hookups. Easily accommodates large motor coaches. Daily activities, small pool and river access where you can cool off or catch some crawfish. The only reason I would not give 5 stars is the amount of road noise. If road noise is a problem for you, I would book away from the main road...much quieter closer to the river. Littleton is only 3 miles away and within 1 hour of most attractions in the White Mountains. We would stay again.

I brought my two children (8+11) along with me for a weekend stay at one of their cabins. We ended up staying an extra night.

The area had the usual things to do for New Hampshire all within a 30 minute drive. There is a supermarket, Wal-Mart, Home Depot, McDonald's, Applebee's and 99 very close by. Other than that, there aren't many other shopping or outside dinner choices.

On the weekend, the campground was at capacity. If you are in a cabin like we were or an RV, you'll have enough privacy but I'd imagine tent camping may feel very tight with minimal privacy. On Monday the campground emptied out to probably 10% of capacity which was great and very peaceful.

The grounds are very well maintained. The bathroom was one of the cleanest I've ever encountered at a campground. They are very well staffed and I wondered how they could afford so many staff members! Every single staff member I encountered was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The ladies working the front desk were great - very helpful, friendly and laughed at my sub par dad jokes.

The kids had a great time and enjoyed playing with the other kids on site. I always felt safe and comfortable allowing them to roam around on their own.

The noise from the road was not even noticeable to us in the cabin. I highly recommend if you are in the area!

If the owners are new here they have a lot to learn. The woman who runs the campground was not pleasant to deal with. She made everyone in our group feel uncomfortable. They seem very strict with the rules and it’s not very family friendly. I went with friends and that experience was so bad that I would not bring my family back.
I have heard that there is the Twin Mountain KOA not too far away that has great service so I will look into bringing my family there.

Stayed at this KOA in July. Arrived at 5P to find the office/store already closed.. no instructions. Figure it out. Campground is Over the top- crazy about following rules. 11 pm we were in our cabin laughing-
Owner showed up with a huge light, shined it in our windows, screaming while pounding on the window and looking into the cabin. If we were loud.. she could have come to door and asked. Would have obliged. Instead she was screaming at the window . Next morning she came to tell us the was not afraid to throw us out if she had to speak to us again. We also heard her talking to other campers about us. She approached our neighbors when we were out to ask if we were bothering them or too loud told them she would throw us out. Neighbors were confused because they hadn’t heard any noise and thought we were great but also dumped water on their fire so they wouldn’t have to deal with her. That night at 2 min past quiet hours she was standing in our site making sarcastic comments about being quiet. The final straw was watching her scream at 3 boys who were riding bikes around the campground. They patrol the campground constantly checking on you.. at least us because we got on their black list for laughing past 10.
They are new owners but have a lot to learn.
There is a great KOA Twin mountain/Mt Washington not far away. I had a great, friendly experience there and would advise staying there.

Stayed for Columbus Day weekend, three nights, tent site 9, by the river. Spacious, grassy, wonderful river views, good picnic table and fire pit and shade. Immaculate campground, excellent bathrooms, dishwashing area. Friendly and helpful staff, fun little activities - bingo, Halloween tick or treating for kids. Quiet neighbors. Camped with three people: two adults, one 11 year-old. Good location, a few miles from grocery, walmart, home depot, fast food, gas. but the campground is quiet and serene and natural, no hint of commerce.

July 2020 was awesome.I thank the staff for the great trip. They went above and beyond with everyone not just us. They were very friendly and attentive. It is extremely clean and roomy. Close to attractions. Very peacefully with lots of river for everyone (shallow and deep). I think my dog had more fun than us. Campers and dogs alike were very well behaved. The best run campground we have been to. A++. Looking forward to a return visit.
