I just returned from a fabulous weekend spent with great friends at the Nutmeg Inn 4/29-5/2/21. This is our 5th time escaping to the inn for a quilting retreat in the beautiful Meredith area. Lynne and Mark have always been incredible and have bent over backwards to ensure the success of the retreat and that we had everything we needed--even arranging a visit to a local quilt shop. The accommodations are always impeccable and the breakfast is fabulous. Last month the inn was sold to Karen and Kevin and we had the pleasure of being their first guests. We were not disappointed. Lynne and Mark ensured that the transition to the new owners was seamless and that guests would enjoy the same wonderful hospitality and accommodations that they had become accustomed to. While we miss Lynne and Mark, Karen and Kevin are doing an amazing job following in their footsteps. They are wonderful hosts, very welcoming and breakfast is just as amazing as always. You won't be disappointed when you return to the Inn or visit it for the first time. We are already booked for retreat #6 and can't wait to go!!!

Property's Favourite Review
Lynne and Mark have made a beautiful little haven of this Inn. So much hard work-- and it shows. This was our first get away since Covid, and we felt safe and welcomed. Many steps taken to make sure everyone's safety was in mind. (breakfast seating was spaced throughout the first floor of the inn, masks worn in common areas, bedding was triple sheeted, everything was super clean). The pool and gardens are lovely, and we hung out there each afternoon. We enjoyed learning about Lynne's amazing quilt art and Mark's ironworking. They are two of the most talented and hardest working innkeepers we have met. Breakfast was amazing--homemade everything and so yummy. We would highly recommend a visit!

This is a jewel of New England delights. Run away from the city to a safe place in the country. Amazing European breakfast. Wonderful hosts. Best inn in Wilmington. Every room is different, cozy and some even have a fireplace. It’s a safe romantic get- a- way.

Thanks for you review Robin, but you submitted your review to the Nutmeg Inn in Meredith NH instead of what you intended for the Nutmeg Country Inn in Wilmington! Glad to know they're doing a good job! I'm sorry we didn't catch this earlier but we had our inn closed for the winter due to COVID. Hope you're staying healthy and come see us in Meredith sometime!

Spent the weekend of 10/22 -25 for a mental health, get back to normal getaway and stayed at the Nutmeg Inn. On our arrival we met inn keepers, Lynne and Mark and could not have been more welcome. They take great pride in the history of the inn and it shows in the upkeep and presentation of the grounds and rooms. Breakfast was prepared every morning with a variety of homemade items each morning. The room, bath and bed were very comfortable and clean. We Highly recommend the Nutmeg Inn if your planning a stay in Merideth

Peaceful country setting only minutes away from downtown Meredith. Lynne and Mark take great pride in their historical home built in the 1700's. This B & B has historical ambiance with all the modern conveniences. Mark provided us with a beautiful fire in the fireplace as we ate breakfast as well as in the evening. We loved the comfortable bed and luxurious linens. Mark and Lynne were great hosts with a wonderful sense of humor.

Hi Linda, thanks again for staying with us. We enjoyed your company and we miss Jim's use of the bell to inform us of his comings and goings. We hope you enjoyed the remainder of your trip and got home uneventfully. Your timing was perfect for the fall colors. A lot of leaves have fallen since you left. Keeps us busy!
