What a great place to go camping, nice family camp ground. Basic gravel plots interconnected by a small paved road in the white mountains. This site is great for families or first time campers. We having been coming for almost 20 years now. One or two steps down from a touristy camp ground and one step above setting your tent...

Jigger Johnson is a great place to stay on the Kankamungus trail! The location is beautiful the rates are reasonable the facilities are clean flush bathrooms and coin up showers which are spacious. A great place along the trail.

Just returned home from 5 days visiting with family and friends! Life is good in the woods of the White Mountains - Jigger Johnson Campground was terrific! We had a great time catching up with nieces, nephews, friends and meetings new campers. It was our first trip with our new r-pod and everything went extremely well. We both decided it's...

Okay signs everywhere saying "burn it where you buy it" but don't buy it from the host. We spent 2 nights struggling to keep our fire lit which made for a less enjoyable time, we told the host and all he had to say was " oh well that was ash wood" cool still didn't burn. The campsite is great,...

We just love JJ, it's a great location with just a great mix of walkable activities and short drives to hiking, waterfalls and even classic visits to North Conway. Bring floating devices for a lazy "float" in the swift river, check out the Boulder loop trail and champenney falls hikes and definitely take a drive to Diana's Bath just west...

Great campground for tenters and boon dockers. Not a lot of amenities, but that is OK. Spots are large and well kept, washrooms are dated and smell a little, but that is camping. Large party next to us got a little loud one night, they gone! Great camp hosts. No fooling around. Located central to a lot of things to...

We took a drive up the Kanc with our class-A and decided to overnight at Jigger Johnson's. It was pouring when we arrived and we decided to park our rig and then head to the kiosk to put money in the envelope. We had just finished backing in when there came a pounding at the door. The ranger was there...

Beautiful Campground about 15 miles up the Kanc. Gary Manages the park and is a great guy whom runs a tight ship with his crew. This is a campground to get out into nature not a place for bingo, hayrides or games of Marco Polo. A beautiful mountainous property at about 1,000 feet of elevation. Great swimming holes and nice...

After camping for two nights at a commercial campground in North Conway, we did two nights at Jigger Johnson in the White Mountain National Forest. It is off the Kancamagus Highway, just 15 miles or so from Conway. We have a 19' travel trailer and a moderate sized SUV, and the sites accommodated both vehicles easily. Sites are private, restrooms...
