The sink and the bathtub were clogged. Very strong smell of chemicals in the room. No refrigerator. Absolute despise for the customer shown by the owner (Ms. Honda as she introduced herself) who did not accept to change the room although there were many unoccupied rooms as the number of cars (four) indicated. The owner told me to take water - implying drinking water because there was not other source of water - from the shower. Extremely dangerous for any person's health. I informed the Police about the sanitary conditions. All travelers must avoid this motel to preserve their health, especially during this pandemic. The worst experience that I had in my life staying at a hotel or motel,

Horrible!! Outdated, smelled like air freshener overload, sheets not tucked in, all wrinkled, extension cords hanging off tv over a radiator. More extensions cords running by the bed...refrigerator unplugged in the middle of the room!! Bed spreads very old and worn. We were not permitted to see the room prior to renting due to covid restrictions. I did not want to stay after opening the door but it was late and we had traveled 300 miles that day. I had my own sheets with me and alcoholed everything due to my personal covid paranoia. and removed the dirty bedspreads. Walls so thin I heard everything the ppl next door were saying all night. Bad experience, this place should be visited by whoever deems hotels safe and clean.

I knew something was amiss when I walked in and all the windows were wide open. Even so, the smell of mold and mildew was overwhelming! The bed spreads were circa 1970 with worn areas that the fill was sticking out of! I removed one of them curious to see what was underneath and sure enough, an ancient blanket that had been sewn in several places. I was totally skeeved and thisclose to losing my lunch! It was labor day weekend so I knew I'd never find another vacancy and reluctantly decided to suck it up an stay. That is until I was told that the ice machine was broken and I'd have to "go to a gas station" to get some. There was a small refrigerator sitting unplugged in the middle of the floor but I didn't stick around long enough to see if it worked! I never even bothered ( maybe afraid to? ) open the bathroom door! Length of stay? 10 minutes. Impact on my holiday weekend? Immeasurable!

Look, I read some of the other reviews after someone had booked a weekend for us at the last minute, and I was terrified. But you know what? I was NOT staying here for the amenities or the decor. I was staying here to sleep and to shower. The bed was comfortable, the room was warm, the shower had good water pressure, the owner and housekeeper were friendly and helpful, and it is in an excellent location. Don't let the other reviews scare you, BUT if you are looking for a resort experience with amenities and the cutting edge of technology, this is not for you. It's a motel. Very clearly a MOTEL. The decor is almost outdated enough to be "retro" and back in style. But it was comfortable enough to shower and sleep in after a day of skiing.
