I stayed in 2 rooms while I was there, both were very comfortable and clean, beds cozy. The front porch is perfect to watch the sunset and a nice deck area out back to enjoy time outside. Such other special touches: wine in the evenings, coffees, teas, apples, snacks available at any time. Comfortable library area to cozy up in...

My wife and I were scheduled to spend a night at this B&B recently. Unfortunately, a plumbing issue arose and we were not able to spend the night. However, Rob the owner, turned a bad situation totally around. He called me to explain what had happened and told me that not only was he going to give me a complete...

We stayed two nights during the peak of "leaf" season. Rob, the innkeeper, is very pleasant and helpful. His helper (didn't get her name) was cheerful and very nice. But the star personality is Brody, the "house" dog, a 7-year-old Sheltie. Since I am a dog person we got on quite well. The breakfasts were very good and generous. Based...

We stayed one night at the Red Elephant Inn and wish we had stayed longer! We stayed in the Neiman Marcus room (I believe it is #8), which was on the second floor and nice and quiet. The room also had incredible views of the mountains. The innkeeper was extremely warm and welcoming and his dog Brodie was adorable -...

The Inn with all its furniture and wares is full of character. This necessitates some variation in the bedrooms. Ours, whilst clean and comfortable, had few places to put clothes, but the bathroom was fine. The owner is communicative with a turn in humour and presents a good breakfast with some choice, although this didn't stretch to juice other than...

Our room had a fireplace, was spacious with a private bath. The bathtub was a whirlpool tub, but it didn't work. Seemed old. The room was dark with a low ceiling. Had a masculine feel to the inn. Breakfast was served to order, and was ok. Comfortable bed, pillows were not. Linens were average. Free self serve wine, chocolates, tea,...

Beautifully put-together and well-kept rooms, friendly, knowledgeable service, and amazing homemade breakfast. None of this Crystal Lite and get-your-own-cheerios-out-of-that-container. Also handy to many hiking trails and directly off Route 16, and the main street within walking distance of all the shops.

We only spent one night this time but we will definitely come back for a longer stay! Brody (the very friendly and very relaxed dog) welcomed us as we pulled into the parking lot. Rob is a great innkeeper who showed us the B&B and our awesome room (New York). The room is very clean, very spacious and has a...

As the title suggests this hotel was fantastic. As soon as my girlfriend and I pulled up we could tell we were going to enjoy our stay. The B&B itself has such a warm and welcoming feel and Rob was so courteous and welcoming. Our room was comfortable and clean and was a great place to relax and unwind after...

Friendly welcome and tour by Rob, the owner respects his guests and their space. My wife and I enjoyed our one night stay, arrive early and discovered that the front porch provides a sunset opportunity to enjoy the sights beyond. Our room was quiet and decorated with a "touch of class" with oversize seating area and fireplace, plus a reivew...
