We came in the off season and there were plenty of open sites. The staff is great and they take good care of the park. You don't have to haul your trash because they come and pick it up. It is probably the closes campground to town and the beach. One part of the campground is mostly seasonal campers who...

We stayed at Shel-Al on labor day weekend. We wanted a place close to the ocean. The campground was very clean and the staff was amazing. There was almost nobody around during the day, but was quite crowded at night. I was a bit worried that it would get loud but everyone seemed to mind the quiet hours just fine....

I definitely recommend this campground! We had an amazing customer service from the beginning to the end. The staffs were able to find us a campground that surpassed our expectations. Furthermore, the camping was really clean and there were many included services, such as offering free coffee every morning at the reception desk, picking up your garbages every night, and...

We stayed here for 4 nights and plan on going back for a week next year. We were looking for something centrally located to Portsmouth and Hampton and this place not only fit the bill, but it also exceeded expectations. The staff was fantastic and the grounds were immaculate and the sites all had grass. The campground guests were very...

Another fantastic adventure to New Hampshire this past weekend! Just four hours from New York State's Capital Region to the salty ocean air and warm sandy beaches of Hampton Beach. SHHHHH....between you and I the best kept secret ...or not so secretive anymore is the Shel-Al Campground, located in North Hampton,NH. Less than ten minutes from the beach with its...

The grounds were nice, everything was clean and kept up, the staff are friendly. The reason I won't ever go back or suggest it to anyone: The partying that went on for hours and hours!! We went so we could relax. I understand campgrounds aren't silent, I've been to many, but these people were so drunk and EXTREMELY loud you...

We just returned from spending 8 nights at the campground and I can not say how great everyone is here! This is the second year in a row that we have stayed for at least a week! If you stay a week you pay for 6 nights and get the 7th free. They also give a 10% military discount if...

We just returned from a weekend stay at Shel-Al campground. We had never camped there before and I was a bit worried (well maybe more like a LOT worried) about what the campground would be like. Pulling into the campground, I saw that the sites were really nice....grassy and level with a few trees for shade...I felt better already about...

Last year we camped in our tent for the entire season at Shel-Al. We loved it so much that at the end of the season, we purchased a 25-ft. camper and moved into a permanent (seasonal May thru October) site at Shel-Al. The staff is friendly and professional and they are also VERY accommodating. They have helped us in any...
