We stayed a long weekend and it rained some of the visit, but we still enjoyed the raft race for the kids on the Saturday we were there. The pool was busy, but warm and clean. The park was very quiet at night.

We stayed here for the first time last weekend. For such a large campground this place is very quiet and clean. You can tell the owners really take pride in their campground and customers. We stayed in a tent so had to use the facilities there and having been to quite a few campgrounds these were some of the nicest I’ve seen. Other people in my party stayed in one of the cabins and that was really nice as well. We will come back! Can’t wait to th second pool is finished.

With attention to detail, you can see the pride the owners have in this campground. It's very well maintained. Would have given the 5 stars but, on our site, the sewer ran uphill causing a few problems.

Probably one of the nicest campgrounds we have been to since we started camping. Most of the sites are open type sites but all are very spacious so you do not feel like you are on top of one another. Everything inside the campground is impeccably kept from the sites, the grounds, the pool and yes the bathrooms were all absolutely spotless and the pride in the campground shines throughout! The seasonal campers we encounter we all very personable and inviting so I do recommend doing their ice cream social on Friday night to get to know a few of the campers there! Being located right on the CT river does provide the opportunity to does some great kayaking or canoeing which we did enjoy and even saw a bald eagle while floating down river! I can not say enough good things about the campers here and the owners they were all amazing! If I had to fond any sort of draw back to the campground at all it would be the pol can get a bit crowded as it is definitely on the small side for a campground but the hot tub makes up for some of the lack of pool size! nothing like a hot tub and a nice fire before bed! Camp here you will not be disappointed! Definitely be sure to visit the ice cream stand at the top of the hill by the entrance, reasonable prices and delicious!
