Great Breakfast. Doug and Janet (owners) are real good folks...and, they've got a great dog too! Horses in nearby fields, pond to swim is a short walk away. Well built stone walls border their property.

This is a really fun B&B - so thoughtfully restored and beautifully decorated that it is like dropping into the 18th century - except for the fully functioning bathrooms. Perhaps there is a maxim in the B&B industry that the more authentic the setting, the more unorthodox the bathroom arrangements, but the only quirkiness about the East Room was that...

From arrival to departure you are treated just like family! The owners Janet and Doug have really got the B&B thing down to an art. The Canopy Room is so cozy and inviting you may not want to leave your room, but don't miss out on the sitting room and the keeping/breakfast room for the full 1700's Colonial American ambience....

It was a last minute reservation on a business trip. Glad we chose the Meadow Farm. It was great talking with the owners. The house is in the country and is not fancy, but very comfortable and clean. Would highly recommend.

We loved our stay and recommend it highly. Gorgeous home built in 1770, authentically restored and furnished. Doug took great care of us in that understated New England way, and seamlessly involved my daughter in collecting eggs, setting out the fruit for breakfast, etc. the screened porch is pretty much my favorite place on earth now!

Southern hospitality has nothing on this Bed and Breakfast, located on several acres in New Hampshire, the house was build in 1770 and is tastefully appointed accordingly. Magnificent breakfasts, sunny pastures, welcoming owner, outstanding horses in beautifully kept stable, lake across the way, I want to move in. Very relaxing area. We happened to be visiting family who live nearby,...

You may think you're lost as you drive the long and winding road to the Meadow Farm. Stay the course and you'll be rewarded. Have stayed here about 4 times over the past few years visiting our children at summer camp. The owners, Janet and Doug, are wonderfully friendly and charming folks whom I have really enjoyed getting to know....

My girlfriend and I stayed for New year's eve. we initially planned on going out to see the ball drop but instead found the comfort of the B&B and the great company of the owners, we stayed in for the night and dined and chatted with Mr. Doug 'till midnight. We will most defanataly be back on our next winter...

My husband and I stayed only one night but it was enjoyable. The house did smell a bit musty but it's old and it was raining so it was expected. Such a nice setting for a b&b, they make a lovely breakfast too.

All the other reviewers are spot on with there comments. My wife and I were in the area for a wedding and my brother in law set us up at Meadow Farm, I'm so glad he did, it was a great experience. Initially I would be uncomfortable just walking around someones home but Doug and Janet made us feel like...

“The Canopy Room is quite beautiful and the bed amazingly comfortable. The room is very spacious and has a working fireplace and windows to the front and side of the house. It is on the ground floor. It has a private bath but the bath/shower is on the other side of the house, passing through the keeping room and opposite the screened in porch. It is well lit at night but still not in your room, which did not bother us at all.”

“Three optional bedrooms are offered in this spacious, grand home. Two rooms require you to climb stairs. Downstairs room does not have an attached bathroom; however, it is grand! Make your wishes known to Doug.”

“Not much sound insulation between rooms, so be prepared to be polite and quiet. Fortunately this place seems to attract people who are.”
