Went to the front desk, told no rooms - went to the car and did an online charge. The room is filthy and the sheets stained. Smells like simply green or something - but the bathroom and kitchen floor are slippery from what ever cleaner they used.
I know this is going to be a dumpy place by expectation due to price but this place was dirty (note the blood stained comforter) and broken door and crusty stained desk chair. Staff was extremely rude I asked for a new comforter and they gave me a fitted sheet. So gross do not go here.
This was like the only hotel left in the area the night we needed it that wasn’t $250+. We were going to legit just sleep one night, no showers and no time spent in the room so I booked. Then I read the reviews and was afraid of what we might be headed towards. But I have to say it was fine. Was it the cleanest hotel room I’ve ever seen? No-but it wasn’t dirty either. I thoroughly checked the beds for cleanliness and bedbugs and found nothing. Towels were clean. It’s outdated and nothing fancy but for $75 a night it’s completely fine. The room heater got nice and hot. They allow dogs for a daily fee. We didn’t bring ours but I like that it’s ok. Some reviews said the front desk people were rude but they weren’t at all rude to us. Check in was easy and friendly. Some said they speak poor English and I admit they were a bit hard to understand especially on the phone but so what we still got it done. Some said there were sketchy people around the hotel. We didn’t see that. Overall I wouldn’t take a significant other here for a romantic night away but if you need a cheap place to lay your head it is sufficient. No horror story here. …
Place is run down and just plain dirty and the owners won’t do anything about it. They really don’t care about anything at all besides money. Toilet has nasty crap and food all over the floor . Bugs everywhere and smelled like a dump as well. Couldn’t pay me to stay there. And they WILL NOT REFUND you at all for any reason!
Terrible! I would avoid this place if possible. I stayed here for a weekend with my wife and ended up with multiple bed bug bites and welts. The owner banged on the door an hour before check out and forced us to leave before we were ready. Terrible customer service and the rooms smelled musty and damp, carpet floors had large stains and the shower liner had grime. We will not be returning.
Hotel is low cost, low quality. Receptionist spoke a language that was not understood and was not English. Was unable to communicate type of room I desired so I took whatever he said. Breakfast included was peanut butter and jelly and a few other insignificant items.
I have stayed at the Red Carpet before, so I knew what I was getting myself into. It is a somewhat run down place, but the cheapest option around. I have always stayed in the back section which is quiet enough. The room comes with a small refrigerator/freezer and microwave. Check in was confusing....first he runs the card, and then voids it, and gives us a better rate, and runs it again, but the process took nearing 30 minutes. As I said, it is the cheapest option around, and close to downtown Plymouth....which is it's only draw, and for that, I would stay here again for all its shortcomings....but your mileage may vary. The Fairfield Marriott just down the road is twice the price. It also seems like they have year round tenants staying in the cottages on the way to the back rooms....all of which gives it a sketchy look. As I said, I have stayed here before, and would stay here again, but then again, they have been all "boys weekend party", so my standards are definitely lowered than if I was with my wife and kids.…
Absolutely hands down the nastiest worst hotel (motel really)I have ever stayed in. If it wasn't 1am and I hadn't driven 8+ hours I would have left. Where to start... The man who checked me in spoke but I couldn't understand a word he said. Was put in the back building. My room smelled of musty mold and wet dog. Excessive mold in the shower and the toilet seat was only attached on one side, so it slid almost off if you sat on it. The breakfast was supposed to start at 7, at 730 there was brown water that was supposed to be coffee, a big jar of peanut butter and jelly on the counter and some cereal. Was the poorest excuse for a breakfast ever. There are people that live there so they are hanging around outside the rooms. There was NOTHING good except maybe the big parking space and the price. Would NEVER stay here again, would sleep in my car first!…
This hotel looks like it caters to “weekly” renters. There are dining room chairs outside the rooms with ashtrays. The hotel is dirty, run down and a bit scary. The check in staff was not friendly or helpful. The online pictures have clearly been photoshopped as the motel doesn’t look anything like the pictures.
Bathroom was disgusting and they came to clean: toilet had unmentionable mess in, and on, the bowl; the sink had dried toothpaste all over it; hair on the floor and in the bathtub. Phone doesn’t work. Ice machine is broken and they asked US to go get some at the store with their cooler. We’d leave except there isn’t any vacancy for miles due to summer camps getting out this weekend. Terrible. Just terrible.
