Beautiful wood work in the hotel. Rooms are contemporary, modern and comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. Location to walk to shops and restaurants in town is great, you can get to most places with a 10 minute walk. Was curious what the "signature breakfast" listed on the website would be. Breakfast was a variety of tapas (see attached picture),...

Beautiful hotel, helpful and friendly staff, great food and fantastic location. We stayed in "The Loft" and it was the most unique room. I agree with other posters that the walls are definitely thin, and you can hear a lot of doors opening and closing but we will definitely be going back to stay here!

I use The Hotel Portsmouth for my corporate events. The meeting rooms are modern with plenty of natural light. The guest rooms are comfy and modern with a cozy historic feel. This place has everything you love in a B&B and none of what you hate. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. Love this place!

I only have good things to say about this place. The location is aces. The staff was incredible. It was super cute and New Englandy while also being modern. The main areas are charming and cozy, and the room was clean and the bed/linens very comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding--a small plate buffet with cold oats, pesto wraps, hard boiled...

Like an Ace Hotel B&B—and I mean that in the best way. Beautiful historic building, free parking, COMFY BED, clean design, and surprising excellent breakfast. Complimentary fresh fruit, sparkling water, (only-okay) wifi. Young inn keepers putting forth a sincere effort—I was only passing through, but tempted to stay another night.

Very cute, colorful hotel in Portsmouth! The room was cozy with modern details and included an iPad pre-loaded with local restaurants, activities, etc. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable with helpful staff and a good location with easy parking.

This is a delightful property, with character, charm, and modern appointments (including an I-pad for your room use!) not to mention friendly, laid back personnel. Breakfast is a real treat, featuring small plates as diverse as homemade(?) yogurt with blueberries, overnight oats with coconut and fruit, a granola coated blueberry dipped in chocolate, on top of the usual offerings of...

The Room was super nice cosy and confortable. We can see the decoration was made from some one with good taste. And we loved the welcoming cookies. Good location near the center. You can't go wrong with The hotel Portsmouth

Had the pleasure of staying 2 nights for a wedding, which was held on premise. The room was stylishly decorated and the bed super cozy. Breakfast and coffee were included. Plus Conveniently located, a short walk into town. Thanks for a great stay!
