My reason for choosing this hotel was for its close proximity to downtown Portsmouth and it had a swimming pool which I need. My husband and I stayed 2 nights and the pool was never open at 8am when it was supposed to be. The first morning, the employee didn't know which key opened the pool. On the second day,...

I was visiting New Hampshire to see my son at UNH, and was pleasantly surprised at how close to campus and easily accessible the hotel was. We stayed their a while back and liked the price verse comfort ratio. If you are traveling north on I-95, it is fairly simple to get to seeing it is quite literally at the bottom of an off ramp nestled between 95 and 1. Convenience, yes. Unless you like stained sheets with hair on them. It was smelly and sketchy. Don't do it. The pool was down and it did not say that when we purchased the room. We were first given a non smoking room that was so strong of smoke scratched and marked walls , older bathroom, we had to say something. So we...

Stay away !!! Loaded with bed bugs management needs to take action and accountability. Worse case scenario!!! Stay far away! During our first night stay my wife switched on the lights at 5 am to move over to the other double bed, as she was pulling back the sheets she spotted a bed bug under the sheets. I ended up catching the bug and brought it down to the main lobby desk. They claimed this was a very serious situation...
