Stayed two nights here recently. The place is very fine. A lot of weddings and parties go down here. It's probably the nicest room around. The hotel room is original and that means it's a little tight. That's the way they did it back then. Very cozy and quaint. Nothing overly fancy, nothing to complain about. I'd stay again. I...

We were in the area for a wedding. First room they put us in was huge but had no place to hang a dress or put any clothes away except for a very small closet (too short for a dress) and a bureau in the bathroom, which was neither convenient or a good place to store clothes. Air conditioning was...

Quiet, comfortable, clean, good value - lovely old building which is well decorated with memoribillia. Rooms are old but in good shape, bathrooms are fine (no hair dryer) - staff are most friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was excellent especially nice selection of fruit and a couple of fresh baked items. Two decent restaurants and a bar are attached which...

Kudos to Lisa (who helped with my numerous schedule changes); Robin (who helped with my confusion with reference codes AND lost luggage roflol), Robin (who provided most excellent service), and the cast of the Murder Mystery Theatre. Kudos to Lisa, Sue, Robin, AND Dawna. Service is a lost art that the staff and employees here have revived. The food is awesome with Dawna doing double duty as our bartender and server it demonstrates the commitment to excellence. I brought my wife for the Murder Mystery and had the time of our lives. Not only was the cast...

I stayed one night on the recommendation of a business colleague. Pretty basic but comfortable but just as well I was up early as there was much noise generated from 7am onwards from next door. Breakfast was limited but actually okay.

I recently hosted a cocktail party event at the Governors Inn to celebrate my recent marriage in Jamaica. First of all the process to book the hall was very easy and quick. Hats off to their event coordinator Lisa, she made the process simple and stress free. I found the prices for the food, cocktails and the hall to be...
