Do not stay at this motel. This is a very old and unclean smelly motel room. It is not cheap. We had silver fish in this bathroom. The only reason we stayed here was because of the good reviews for this motel. It is terrible and you can get much nicer places for less. Please do not make the same...

My boyfriend and I checked in aware the room was a smoking room but didn't expect the room to complete wreak! We booked the smoking room as it was the last one available and it was closest to the event we were attending... I, personally, couldn't take the smell and asked if there was ANYTHING else available. We were on our way from Portsmouth to the White Mountains, it was 5.30 pm and we badly needed a pool (it was warm) and an overnight accomodation. So this was an excellent place. The rooms were simple, clean and ours had a huge flat screen TV. The complementary breakfast was good, we had waffles and bagels.

Our trip to New Hampshire was wonderful! We stayed here and it was very clean and the staff was polite and very helpful. It is pet friendly but make sure they are pet friendly rooms before you book it--there is plenty of room for the dogs to play! We would definately stay here again

WE are seniors who don't like to drive at night and this was a very easy drive home form the Opera House late at night. When we arrived we found several members of the family who run it , there to greet us. They were welcoming and warm. We had requested a non smoking room and found a strong cigarette...

The staff is very friendly and the supervisor is clearly committed to guests having a good stay. I stayed here three times over the past year and a half and have seen improvements each time. We stayed a number of times recently and found the hotel very pleasant each time. The service was excellent and always friendly. Set on a hill so it is comparatively private yet close to downtown areas.
